除了代表在争吵，其他队员们发现了直尺队代表不说话，议论纷纷：“你看直尺队代表怎么一直不说话呀？”“是哦，是哦！”“一定觉得我们赢定了吧！”“没错。”“……”

裁判似乎也很好奇为什么直尺队代表不说话，便让他到台中间说说理由。直尺队代表虚心地说：“我最多只能画直线，不能像钢笔铅笔一样写字，也不能像修正带和橡皮一样修错字，而且不拿住我，也会画出像毛毛虫一样的线条，所以我没啥好说的。”

裁判听了，说：“本次的冠军是（全场都竖起了耳朵）——直尺！直尺惊讶地说：“我？”“是啊。因为你不仅看到了自己的优点也看到了自己的不足，而他们却谁也瞧不起谁。”其他队的文具们都惭愧地低下了头。

最下面一层是我的暗室，里面放着我上美术课和劳动课的刻刀，因为我怕它出来捣乱，伤害其它的文具，所以把它放在了暗室。

上战场，要拿枪；上学校，笔就是一杆枪。没有笔，我们便无法学习。如果没有文具盒，我的这些好朋友便成了无家可归的“流浪儿”，书包也会变成大花脸，使本子面目全非。
