Morning, the day is not bright, my mother to get up early to do breakfast, laundry, and so on when we have a sumptuous breakfast to show in my eyes, fragrant.

My mother takes care of me all the time, she is around me when I need help. Unlike my father, who is so severe and busy, my mother is very kind, when I make mistakes, she will not angry, she tells me to take care of these mistakes and should not make them next time. My mother is an English teacher and she likes listening to English radio and reading English newspaper. She always gets up early in the morning. She washes her face and has breakfast, then she hurriedly goes to school. She does morning exercises with her students. Next, she has one or two English lessons. In the afternoon, she helps some students with their English. Finally, she goes home at five o’clock. She marks the student’s homework at home and she always. tired everyday. I love my mother and I hope she can just relax at the weekend.

My mother is an educated woman, who has many good qualities. Like all other mothers, she is responsible and devotes most of her efforts to our family. She treats my father kindly and cares for her children whole?-heartedly.

When my mother has spare time, she reads books and newspapers, so she knows many stories. After supper, I often sit in our living room, listening to her telling stories. She has a gift for telling interesting stories. My mother is a learned woman, so I often consult her whenever I have any difficulty in my lessons. Her explanations are very helpful, so she is not only my mother but also my teacher.

My mother is very good at raising plants and flowers. We have plants and flowers indoors and outdoors all the year round. Some of our plants were very small in the beginning,but now they are large and very beautiful. On top of our roof there is a big glass-enclosed greenhouse. All our friends love to come to our house to see the beautiful world my mother has made for us. Every morning and evening we see my mother taking care of her plants like little children. As her real children grow older and more independent,my mother devotes more time to her garden. This is a very good way to spend one’s free time.

Today is my mother s birthday. My father and I wanted to give her surprising birthday presents.

In the morning we went to the shop and bought a big cake. Then we went to the market and bought some food that mother liked very much. After getting home, we began to prepare our presents. Father went into the kitchen to prepare a big meal while I went into my room to make a birthday card. I drew three rabbits biggest one was eating grass while the other two were playing happily under a big tree. To tell you the truth, it was my family because all of us were born in the year of rabbit.

It was almost 12 o clock. The delicious food on the table made my mouth water. Everything was ready. We seated ourselves at the table, waiting for my mother. When we heardthe sound of opening the door, we hid behind the door and cheered, Happy Birthday! as soon as mother came in.

Mother was seated at the table and I showed her my present. She looked at it and smiled. Have a taste of the delicious food. It was made by Father himself. I said. Mother looked at my father and me, picking up her chopsticks.

How happy we were!
