5、结束语(complimentary close)

(1)写给家人、亲戚，用your loving grandfather，lovingly yours，lovingly等;

(2)写给熟人、朋友，用yours cordially，yours affectionately等;

6、签名(signature)

Last year, I could not celebrate the festival with my family because I was in university. However, this special day left a deep impression on me.

I still remember the atmosphere of that evening. All the students who could not go back home assembled in our classroom, having a party to celebrate this traditional festival. We tried our best to show our own enthusiasm. As an ethnic minority, I performed a peacock dance, which received warm applause. After the two-hour party, we went out to the playground and sat together to appreciate the moon because it is a tradition on Mid-autumn Day. In that harmonious atmosphere, nobody felt lonely or homesick even though we were far away from our homes.

Every Chinese, who experienced 1980s, will remember forever the day November 6th 1981 when the China National Womens Volleyball Team defeated the Japan National Team (the so-called "Toyo Women Magic") with 3 to 2 at the 3rd World Womens Volleyball Cup in Osaka Japan. Two years later, the China National Womens Volleyball Team came to the 14th World Womens Volleyball Team Championships. Though the famous players, such as the "Iron Girl" Cao Huiying, the "Iron Hammer" Lang Ping, the "Wall of Tian An Men Rostrum" Zhou Xiaolan, and the "Quick Attacker" Zhang Rongfang, had retired, the Chinese girls still won the gold medal by their strength and wisdom. In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in

activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school.
