“力拔山兮气盖世。时不利兮骓不逝。骓不逝兮可奈何!虞兮虞兮奈若何!”一首短短的《垓下歌》，道尽了项羽的一生，充斥着种.种复杂的感情，最终成为千古绝唱，惹得后人唏嘘叹息。

曹无伤告密，背叛汉军，刘邦深知自己兵力不及项羽，故抢先来到鸿门一处，欲对项羽进行解释。刘邦巧用语言，因了解项羽“任人唯亲”的重情性格，首先回忆起楚汉共同对秦时的那段战友情，使项羽内心温存;又用一句“不自意能先入关破秦”，贬低了自己的同时，抬高了项羽，满足了项羽的虚荣心;最后抓住项羽重义这一点，又避重就轻，不提出是楚汉两家未来必然的对立关系，而只怪在有小人挑拨离间上，使项羽羞愧不已，最终完全对刘邦消除了戒备心。不得不说，刘邦“谢曰”这段话中，充满了智慧色彩，抓住项羽注重情义的弱点，将这场没有硝烟的“内心攻防战”打得漂亮，赢得干脆。

项羽留刘邦在鸿门举宴，期间范增的举玦暗示被项羽“默然不应”，项庄舞剑被项伯拦下。气氛一度紧张，刘邦如坐针毡。而后樊哙出场又是一顿言语，依旧“攻打”项羽的情义这一块，说得项羽哑口无言，只能以一“坐”字回应。最终刘邦逃跑，明智的留下有勇有谋的张良善后献礼，因此项羽也并没有因刘邦的不辞而别而感到不愉快。鸿门宴就此结束，而楚汉之争也就此开始，而这场宴会中楚汉两方的表现，似乎也正是宣布了最后四面楚歌的结局。

刘邦武力不及项羽，性格不及项羽，处处不及项羽，可他唯一能够战胜项羽的正是他能够看清自己的不足，勇于面对它们，敢于战胜它们。这也正是一个领导人最该拥有的，因此不管世人如何批评他的种.种不足，他自己又是如何的机关算尽，可胜了就是胜了，是谁也无法改变的事实。我们不应只看到刘邦不好的一面，也需要多看看刘邦的智慧。

项羽全程没有看清四下的剑拔弩张，成了整个宴会中唯一的一个“糊涂人”。是他的重情重义蒙蔽了他的双眼，舍不得杀掉这个昔日的战友。加之他太过自信，只愿相信自己看到的，而不愿听取范增的意见，最终迎来不好的结局。重情重义固然无错，可错在这份情义放在了不该放的人身上。甚至放在不该放的人身上亦是无错，真正的错处大概是在他无法认清这份错吧。

楚霸王一生饱含情义，终有虞姬不离不弃，有乌骓含泪殉主。叹霸王乌江自刎，惜霸业付诸东流。刘邦的历史世代相传，项羽的传奇无人能及。
