We will never forget our freshman year at college. In general it is a time filled with anticipation, some anxiety, and wonderful discoveries.

College is much different than high school. You may decide to commute from your home to a local campus. Without doubt, the most dramatic freshman year is for those living away from home. What can we expect as we head off into the wonderful world of higher education?

The first thing I notice is the workload. It is heavier and more intense than I ever experienced before. The major challenges of college work are large volume of reading, short deadlines, and “endless” writing. A related effect that can be brought on by the workload is doubt, frustration, and loneliness if possible.

On some of those long, seemingly endless nights of studying and writing, it will be very natural for me to long for fine old days. Hang in there. These down periods will pass.

Remember the day when I first came to the college. Being a boy of 17, I was longing for a new life as a college student; but, at the same time, I had no idea what college life would be like.

My name is Beth. Im 14 years old, and I study in No. 1 Middle School of

Hangzhou. My school is very big and beautiful. Im very happy in the school.

I usually get up at 6:15 in the morning. Then I do morning exercises in the

playground. At 6:40, I have my breakfast. You can see many students and teachers

in the dinning room. After breakfast, I often read English with my

classmates.

We have six classes every day. The first class begins at 7:50 am. I like

all the classes for my teachers can make the classes lively and interesting. My

清晨的第一缕阳光照射进来，让我倍感舒适。神清气爽的我这才反应过来，今天就是那痛苦的开始：星期一啊！我拖着沉重的脚步来到教室进行着“苦不堪言”的早读。

当第一束阳光从地平线升起，校园里传来了郎朗的读书声，虽然大多数同学都有“星期一综合症”，但我们依然昂首挺胸。放声朗读，一年之计在于春，一日之计在于晨。读书声中，展开了一天的学习。

就在读书声中詹老师走了进来，“同学们，这个星期三就是元旦节了，学校将在这个星期二的下午举行一次‘跳蚤市场’”。刚说完全班就像一条长江，话语就像那滔滔的江水连绵不绝，这时的詹老师悬崖勒马止住了这场洪水，但大家激动的心情还是难以掩盖，就连上课回答问题时都是蹦蹦跳跳的。放了学，大家回到家很快地做完作业，开始寻找一些没有多大用处的东西，就连睡觉时都是那么的精神焕发，我也是如此。

“跳蚤市场”终于拉开了序幕，每个“店铺”的店员卖力的推销自己的商品，站在主席台上放眼望去：看到的是一片又一片热闹的景象，放掉了一切紧张的状态回归到了融洽的气氛，忘记了是非开心近在眼前。我和同学们带来的东西几乎买完了，虽然钱不多，但开心就好，可以把自己用不着的东西买个别人再次利用也颇有成就感哦。

元旦的落幕，代表着期末的来临。这就是我的校园生活，尽管每天都是那么平淡，但是我们每天都过的那么充实，那么快乐！
