So it does because all of us have growing pains and also growing gains in our

lives.

Growing up is not a very enjoyable time. It means I have to work hard in

studying and in family. There’s always so much homework given by teachers and so

many arguments between the parents and me. The time is fair, but it seems it

gives pains three quarters and only one quarter to gains.

But gains give me power and confidence. Successes and friendship make me

happy and enjoyable. We played with snow in the winter that seldom snows, we

my mother’s birthday is in winter. its february 25th.our family was happy. my brother and i went to birthday cake store and bought a big birthday cake for her. my aunt gave flowers to her. she’s very happy. at night we all went to a five stars restaurant. the food was very good. after dinner we gave the cake to mother. she’s very happy. we said “happy birthday” to my mother.

i love my mother.

弹指瞬间，我已经从那十指不沾阳春水的小女孩长成一个独立的中学生了。这十六年来，我在由父爱和母爱共同支撑起来的那片天空恣意的翱翔。

不知道什么时候那温暖安宁的天空出现了些不和谐的画面。临近中考的那一个月，我变得急躁不安，无法静下心来学习。妈妈也因我急得不知所措，我整天提不起精神来，妈妈也因此变得敏感起来。

那天放学我站在门口，听见妈妈在家与爸爸通电话，我凑上去听了听。妈妈说：“女儿最近不知怎么了，一点紧张感都没有，我怀疑她是不是谈恋爱了啊？”妈妈还说：“我想去她房间看看，可谁知，她竟然将门锁了起来，大白天的，就我一个人在家，锁什么门呀，这里面肯定有名堂，等我回来问问她。”

我听了这话，仿佛晴天霹雳，妈妈竟然这样想。我打开门，跑到了自己房间，反锁上了门，躲在被窝里哭出了声，我只是觉得中考压力大，想回家里放松一下，根本没什么事。

妈妈见我这样，赶紧打电话让爸爸回来。晚上，爸爸好不容易把我从房间里哄出来。认真的看着我说：“你是不是在学校里觉得压力很大啊？爸爸不逼你一定非要考上龙中，时杨也可以的，只要你自己努力，到哪里都可发光的。”

我听了这话，眼泪像断了线的珠子不断滑下。妈妈过来搂住我说：“孩子，你误会妈妈了，妈妈只是怕你出什么事，才这样的。”我再也控制不住了，被爸爸妈妈抱在了怀里。这一刻，就是永恒。

我没能如爸爸妈妈所愿考上龙中，新生开学那天，爸爸妈妈帮我收拾了东西，并呵嘱道：“孩子，以后一个人在外面，要靠自己了，有什么事要考虑清楚才能做，专心学习，别老想家，你大了，总有一天是要离开家里的。”我听着听着，鼻头一酸，不争气的眼泪又掉了下来。

临走前，妈妈的眼眶都红了，在我面前使劲的憋着，都涨红了脸。我不舍地望着爸爸妈妈离开的背影。

我暗暗说不用怕，路很长，梦就在前方。有爸爸妈妈的陪伴，我不孤单。

Mobile phones are useful and popular. But they are also bad for us

students. On the one hand, some of us like playing the games, they will forget

the time to rest. If they dont get enough rest, they will feel sleepy in class.

And even they are having a class, they always think about the games. They are

not good for our study. On the other hand, there are a lot of students who like

reading e-books on a mobile phone. Its good to read. But reading on a mobile

phone for a long time is not good for our eyes.

Thanksgiving Day

In the United States， the fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day。 On that day， Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed during the year。Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day。 People always celebrate with big dinners and happy reunions。 Pumpkin pie and Indian pudding are traditional Thanksgiving desserts。 Relatives from other cities， students who have been away at school， and many other Americans travel a long distance to spend the holiday at home。

I remember once upon a time, when I was running 800meters, I felt there seemed to be the impossible mission for me, I wanted to give up, then my teacher told me that I should not think about the 800meters, I should set up 100meters for myself, then I wouldn’t be so tired.

I did as he told me, indeed, every time when I finished the small goal, I was happy, in the end, I finished the running. I learn the lesson that we need to set up the best goal, it means we can make the small goals, which are so easy for us to realize.

Then every time we finish the small goal, we will close to our final destination.

我记得有一次，当我跑800米的时候，我觉得这对于我来说是不可能的任务，我想要放弃，然后我的老师告诉我不应该想着800米，我应该为自己定下100米的目标，这样才不会那么累。我按他说的去做，每次我完成了小目标，我就很开心，最后，我完成了跑步。我学到了东西，我们需要定下最佳的目标，这意味着我们可以定下小目标，对我们来说容易实现。每次我完成了小目标，就会离最终的目的地近了一步。

My mother is an educated woman, who has many good qualities. Like all other mothers, she is responsible and devotes most of her efforts to our family. She treats my father kindly and cares for her children whole?-heartedly.

When my mother has spare time, she reads books and newspapers, so she knows many stories. After supper, I often sit in our living room, listening to her telling stories.
