lakes and bridges. It is the paradise of my new life. I think it is a special

place. It makes me relaxed and happy.

So I think Zhejiang University is equal to giving me a new life.

I enjoy the vew life, enjoy the things and people here.

暑假，我和爸爸妈妈一起到张家界旅游。我们坐了一天的火车，到了晚上天黑才到张家界。

第一天，我们来到了天子山，我们乘坐索道来到了天子山山顶，远远望去，山好像戴了帽子似的，云雾在山顶上环绕好像神仙就要降临在我面前，我们首先到达的景点是乾坤柱。哇，这个乾坤柱可真大呀!简直就是十个房子都比不上!我们下一个到达的景点是天下第一桥，我一开始看都没发现天下第一桥在哪里呢，后来妈妈告诉我，天下第一桥就在对面那个岩石的下面，其实天下第一桥还是自然生成的呢!天下第一桥是用岩石构成的，大自然可真是奇妙啊!

第二天，我来到了仙人溪，哇!我闻到了好吃的的烧烤味，这里有自助烧烤吗?走近一看，还真的有，我恨不得马上去烤一个鸡腿吃，我让爸爸立刻马上现在就去烤鸡腿，趁着爸爸烤鸡腿的时间，我要出去逛逛，呀，这里还有一个天然的游泳池，然后就立马去游泳了，过了一会，爸爸对着游泳池大声说：“鸡腿烤好了，快来吃哦!”我小声的对自已说：“耶，鸡腿终于烤好了!”我立马爬上岸跑到爸爸那里拿起一个鸡腿就啃，真好吃呀!

第三天，我来到了黄龙洞，到了黄龙洞，那天晚上正好是土家族举行篝火晚会的时候，我真希望时间可以过的快一点，这样就可以早点到举行篝火晚会的时候了;白天，我跟爸爸妈妈一起去了黄龙洞，我和爸爸妈妈走到了黄龙洞的深处，里面好凉快呀，而且还有一个大大的舞台，下面还有很多座位，我们向着舞台后面走，竟然看到了好多蝙蝠，后面还有个楼梯，从楼梯上去有一个小房子和一个花园，请问这是谁家的花园，怎么这么多雾呀，好像仙人住的房子呀!到了晚上，有好多穿着土家族服装的叔叔阿姨在广场上敲锣打鼓，中间摆放着一个大锅，锅里面放了一些柴火，倒了一些油，有一个叔叔拿了一个火把，把火把丢进了大锅里面，大锅里瞬间燃起了熊熊大火，土家族的人们兴高采烈地围着火堆跳起了土家舞……

I didnt go anywhere today. I stayed at home doing my homework and helping

my mother with housework. I realised it was not easy to do so much housework all

by oneself. I should help mother more in the future.

导语：写作方法就是写作中进行表现时运用的方法，是作者为表情达意而采取的有效艺术手段。

学生写作时，如果语句平平，只选用一些普通的、直截了当的词，那么，这样写出来的文章根本没有可阅读行，就像是一碗没有油盐酱醋面条一样，让人提不起一点精神和看下去的欲望，呆板、单调，没有可读性。如果一篇文章要让读者有可读性、有深度，同学们更应该掌握一些高级点词和语句来装饰你的文章，突出这篇文章的彩头，使文章增添文采，给读者以不一样的感受。具体方法可以参照下面的语句：

1. 画龙点睛，一篇文章的开头很重要。

在通常情况下，英语句子的排列方式为“主语+谓语+宾语”，即主语一般都会在谓语前面。但若根据情况适当改变句子的开头方式，比如在文章的开始的时候写一些倒状语句或以状语为起始语句的开头，这样子的文章更具表现力和感染力。如：

(1) There stands an old temple at the top of the hill.

→ At the top of the hill there stands an old temple.

在小山顶上有一座古庙。

(2) You can do it well only in this way.

→ Only in this way can you do it well.

只有这样你才能把它做好。

(3) A young woman sat by the window.

2. 避免重复使用同一词语

为了使表达更生动，更富表现力，同学们在写作时应尽量避免重复使用同一词语来表示同一意思，尤其是一些老生常谈的词语。如有的同学一看到“喜欢”二字，就会立刻想起like，事实上，英语中表示类似意思的词和短语很多，如 love, enjoy, prefer, appreciate, be fond of, care for等。如：

I like reading while my brother likes watching television.

→ I like reading while my brother enjoys watching television.

我喜欢看书，而我的兄弟却喜欢看电视。

3. 合理使用省略句

合理恰当地使用省略句，不仅可以使文章精练、简洁，而且会使文章更具文采和可读性。如：

(1) He may be busy. If he’s busy, I’ll call later. If he is not busy, can I see him now?

→ He may be busy. If so, I’ll call later. If not, can I see him now?

他可能很忙，要是这样，我以后再来拜访。要是不忙，我现在可以见他吗?

(2) If the weather is fine, we’ll go. If it is not fine, we’ll not go.

4. 适当运用非谓语结构

非谓语结构通常被认为是一种高级结构，适当运用非谓语结构，会给人一种熟练驾驭语言的印象。如：

(1) When he heard the news, they all jumped for joy.

→ Hearing the news, they all jumped for joy.

听了这消息他们都高兴得跳了起来。

(2) As I didn’t know her address, I wasn’t able to get in touch with her.

5. 结合使用长句与短句

在英语写作中，过多地使用长句或过多地使用短句都不好。正确的做法是，根据实际情况在文章中交替使用长句与短语，使文章显得错落有致，这样不仅使文章在形式上增加美感，而且使文章读起来铿锵有力。如：

At noon we had a picnic lunch in the sunshine. Then we had a short rest. Then we began to play happily. We sang and danced. Some told stories. Some played chess.

7. 恰当套用某些固定表达

9. 综合使用各类所谓的“高级”结构

(2) We had to stand there to catch the offender.

10. 适当使用名言警句点缀

在写作时根据实际情况恰当地用上一两句名言警句来点缀文章，不仅使文章显得有深度、有智慧，而且会让文章在评分中上一个“得分档次”。如：

一到冬天，我最盼望的就是下雪了。下雪，就可以和小朋友们一起玩雪仗、堆雪人……会给我们带来许许多多的乐趣。“瑞雪兆丰年”，老师这样告诉我们，说雪会给庄稼加上一条厚厚的“棉被”，会冻死许多的害虫病菌。雪，在我的印象中，一直是一个美丽的精灵。

天遂人愿，今年春节前夕，纷纷扬扬的大雪飘了起来。我们好高兴啊!但是，雪没有止的迹象，一连下了好几天，到处都是白色，人们都出不了门，只能呆在家中看看电视。电视中每个电台的报道中都出现了各地遭受雪灾的叫人担心的消息。快过年了，成千上万的旅客困在路上，不能回家和亲人团圆;有的地方雪压坏了房子，压坏了电线等通讯设备，严重影响了人们的生活，破坏了过年的好心情。不过，大雪无情人有情，在电视中，我看见国家--伯伯到了重灾区，无数的军人、干部、普通百姓走上街头，慰问受灾群众，在路上扫雪。我还看见许多司机在车上系上“绿丝带”无偿帮助路上行人回家……

我看得非常投入，“嘭……”一声清脆的鞭炮声吸引了我的注意力。原来室外的雪小了，很多人正在街上扫雪。一个调皮的小朋友迫不及待地跑到雪地中放起了烟火，被炸得七零八落的雪片夹杂在五彩缤纷的烟花中特别地美丽!雪还在下着，打雪仗的人在笑着，我想起了--伯伯的话，只要我们万众一心，众志成城，我们的爱心会融化雪灾。

In the east of China,there is a small city---Haimen.I was born

there.Today,I am telling you about my hometown.

Haimen is not far from Shanghai.Its at the mouth of the Changjiang

River.Haimen is a modern city.There are lots of high buildings in it.Most of us

live in flats.We like to live in flats because we can be close to our friends.In

the center of Haimen,there are many shops.You can buy some nice things

here.Things in most shops arent expensive.You can pay a little money and they

are yours.

My hometown is a beautiful city.On each of the roads,there are some big

trees and nice flowers.The roads are also very clean.They make people happy and

comfortable.The seasons here are very nice.I like autumn best.Its neither hot

nor cold.A poem says “Flyer of summer come to my window to sing,then fly

away.And yellow leaves of autumn,which have no songs,just fall there with a

sign.” Its very cool.

I love Haimen.Its a nice place to live.Welcome to my hometown.

Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not very healthy and I

decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will feel happy and

become better. Suddenly, an idea hit me that it’s terrible to grow old becuase

you have to worry about both your health and others’ opinions. Once again, I

make a decision to be a good girl.

今天，我帮助了奶奶做家务。奶奶的身体不好。我以后要常帮她做事。这样她就会高兴身体也会好一些。突然觉得，人老了真不好。不但身体不会好，而且一不小心就会惹得大家讨厌。我又做了一个决定，以后一定要做个乖孩子。

it is true that summer is hot, very hot. but the wicked summer sun is nothing to me, for i don‘t usually go out. what i like to do best during the long summer vacation is to stay in my own little room and read. i love to read, but during the school year i could hardly find a free moment for reading. endless assignments press down upon me like a mountain.

i feel confined and imprisoned. once the summer vacation comes, however, i have all the time in the world to read and read and read.

i read everything i want to read. i read to my heart‘s content. my room maybe small, and the sun maybe hot, but i‘m free, i‘m happy, i‘m really living! oh, how i love summer!
