相传在古代，楚国谋士—屈原深受楚怀王的重用。那些卑鄙小人就经常在楚怀王面前说屈原的坏话，楚怀王渐渐不用他了，屈原见自己的政治抱负不能实现，悲愤不已。有一回强大的秦国派人找楚怀王议和，屈原看出这是秦王的阴谋，便去劝阻楚怀王，没想到楚怀王不但不听他的，还将他驱逐出都城。结果楚怀王一到秦国就被关机牢房里，三年后因忧郁成疾死在了秦国。楚怀王死后，楚襄王即位后，整天吃了玩，不理朝政，楚国一天一天衰弱下去。屈原多次劝说楚襄王，反而被流放到了遥远的汨罗江边。后来亲王占领了楚国的都城，屈原知道了这个消息后悲痛万分，因不愿做亡国奴而于农历五月初五这天跳进了滚滚的汨罗江里，

后来百姓们为了保全屈原的尸体而往江里面投放粽子和鸡蛋，希望江里的鱼不要吃屈原，还把船装扮成龙的样子在江面上划来划去以便驱赶水怪。从此为了纪念屈原的爱国精神，就把每年的农历五月初五定为端午节。

revol- ution in teaching techniques is required now. In the past, we just took

it for granted that a teacher s aim was to teach the students all that he knew

and solve all the problems for them. Therefore, students could mot judge things

on their own under this circumstance. Thus students gradually lost the ability

to learn by themselves. In addition, they were only equipped with the knowledge

that were taught in class and made the same judgement upon every problem which

might crop up. Of course, they would find their knowledge not enough to solve

practical problems.

So it is time to change the teaching method. A teacher s goal is to help

the students develop not only the ability to learn by themselves but the skills

to make judgements on every aspect on their own. It s not necessary for the

students to turn to teachers for help while meeting with difficulties. The first

Dragon boat Festival is a Chinese traditional festival. It falls on the fifth day of May in the lunar calendar. A day before this festival, my mother and grandmother began to make zongzi. 节分端午自谁言，万古传闻为屈原。堪笑楚江空渺渺，不能洗得直臣冤。一年一度的端午节又到了。

瞧！濠河那边正在热火朝天地举行龙舟比赛呢！一条条龙似离弦的箭从岸边射出，你追我赶，似乎要与风儿赛跑，与日月争辉。

今年的端午，我们照例去外婆家。我在楼上刚做完作业，就听见外婆在楼上大喊：小馋猫们，快下来包粽子哟！看来这次外婆不想让我们坐享其成了。一群小馋猫听罢，不约而同地蜂拥而至，三步并作两步地跑下楼，赶集似地聚拢到外婆身旁。

但也不是所有人都学会了包粽子。譬如我妹妹，因为年龄太小没有耐心，所以她就随心所欲地包了一个长方形粽子，还很兴奋地大喊：大家快看，我会包粽子了！弄得我们捧腹大笑。

到了晚上，月亮姐姐嘴角带着点笑意走上了天空，把光芒洒下大地。吃饭喽！的声音顿时响起。在有着浓浓家乡味道的饭桌上，香喷喷的粽子出炉了。我吃在嘴里，甜在心里。

reasons: farmers cut down trees in order to get more fertilize lands to grow

However, many of us fail to realize that forests are the lungs of the

earth. When we cut down trees, we also push ourselves in to a dangerous

situation. That is the global warming. When you come to think about it, there

are only few ways to solve these negative effects: stop cutting down trees

blindly; try to find some clear energy that can replace oil and coal. But these

solutions can be impractical to some degreed.

Why trees can be so important to the whole nature? First of all, trees are

the habitat of many animals. When we cut down trees, we not only destroy

animals’ habitats but also ourselves. We just gradually destroy natural links.

The result is that many spices of animals and plants are dying out. Secondly,

cutting down trees cause global warming, to some degree. Naturalists compare

forest to human’s lungs. The forests absorb the carbon dioxide and other gas

that cause global warming, and then give off the oxygen that good for the human

beings and other living creatures. It’s refreshed the air as well as reduced the

noise. If the air quality is bad, people may die from cancers, or the new

diseases for which they have no immunity. Forests also play an important role in

the prevention of natural disasters. Warmer temperatures cause water to expand

and also create more water by melting polar ice caps. That’s to say, the nations

which near the ocean may have been flooded by the water. But the forests can

prevent water loss and soil erosion, and cool off the global temperatures. It’s

the key to keep the balance of the nature.

Sometimes people only care about money making; they don’t care about the

price we pay for the pollution. When the disaster is around the corner, we may

be afraid and frustrated. The earth, on which our economies have always been

based, is suddenly threatening our existence. All we hope that is this

overpopulated, over industrialized planet can carry on for a longer time. And

maybe, it’s time for us to realize that we should protect the earth, stop

cutting down trees blindly and madly.

In a few days is the National Day, our school will be on holiday then.

The supplier of the milk， Sanlu Group， is a name brand and is a major player in

the industry in China。 The pany is said to have known of the problem for months，

but claims the contaminant came from milk suppliers.

Who should be main responsible for these serious incidents like milk

scandal? On one hand， plex China’s food regulations should shoulder part

duties.We should realized its monitoring system can be unresponsive， and the

government departments that oversee and enforce policies have overlapping and

在去年的端午节里，我们就全家总动员，在家里自己包粽子。那天，奶奶一大早就把糯米、蜜枣洗干净，然后把糯米用水泡在盆里备用，据说这样在蒸的时候糯米比较容易蒸烂，然后又跑到超市上买来新鲜的粽叶，用开水烫一下把底部硬头给剪掉，准备好绑粽子的棉线，准备开始包粽子了。一家人里就妈妈和奶奶会包，只见她先把两个粽叶重叠起来，然后把大头折成一个漏斗形状，先用勺子把糯米放在这个漏斗里，再在上面放上两颗蜜枣，最后再放上一勺糯米，然后就开始把粽叶折过来把米和枣盖上，顺着粽叶的方向折，直到把糯米和枣严严实实得包起来，最后再用棉线把包好的粽子给扎起来，这样防止包好的粽子散开，一个粽子才算是大功告成了。

通过那件事使我懂得了，做事不但要注意结果，更要注意过程，因为只有过程，才能带给人们一种快乐。

端午节是中国民间的传统节日，至今已有2000多年的历史了。每年的农历五月初五为端午节，又称瑞阳节、重五节。据说端午节的由来和屈原有关。

屈原是春秋时期楚怀王的大臣，他倡导富国强兵，可是遭到了小人的的陷害，被楚怀王赶出都城，流放到异地他乡。公元前278年，秦军攻破楚国京都。屈原眼看自己的祖国被侵略，心如刀割，于是在农历的五月五日，抱起石头，跳进了泊罗江。

传说屈原死后，楚国百姓悲痛欲绝。纷纷来到泊罗江边打捞屈原的尸体。渔夫们划着船在江上来回寻找，有位渔夫拿出为屈原准备的饭团、鸡蛋等食物“扑通” “扑通”地丢进江里，说是让鱼、龙虾、蟹吃饱了就不会去咬屈原的身体了。人们见后纷纷效仿。一位老医师还拿来一坛雄黄酒倒进江里，希望蛟龙水兽喝了以后晕倒，就不会去伤害屈原的身体。后来人们怕蛟龙把饭团吃掉，就用楝树叶包上饭，外面缠上彩线，变成粽子丢进江里。

从此，每年的5月5日，就有了赛龙舟、吃粽子、喝雄黄酒的风俗。

People around the world may feel that the climate has been getting steadily

warmer and warmer in recent years. Places which used to be abundant in snowfall

have frequently experienced snowfree(无雪的) winters. Drought lasts longer in some

dry areas. People find that without air conditioners they could hardly work or

fall asleep on hotter summer days.

The side effects of global warming are alarminS. A warmer global climate

melts the ice caps, raising sea levels. What is more, it disturbs weather

patterns, causing droughts, severe storms, hurricanes (飓风). People suffer a lot

from disasters relevant to global warming.

To stop global warming we should make immediate and continual efforts. We

hope the situation will soon change. Global warming catches and holds our

concern, for it affects us and will affect our later generations. We cannot wait

any longer. Do it. Do it right. Do it right now.

Everyone always has a good Sunday. On Sundays, everybody does some things

what he like.Last Sunday, Jack had a relaxing Sunday. He got up 6 o’clock. After

breakfast, Jack played basketball with his friends. They were very happy. Then

he played the guitar in the room. And he sang songs very loudly. Though it’s

very relaxing for him, it also make very noisy for neighbors. Maybe he should

turn down the music. At noon, jack fed his pet cat henry. He is Jack’s favorite.

Jack always play with him on the weekends. At night, he watched TV on the sofa.

At the some time, he ate many delicious snacks. So he really had a great time.At

the of day, jack thought if I always have a relaxing Sunday like today. I will

become the happiest boy all over the world.

As manipulation of the policy of Family Plan in the 1980s, today, there are

so many children are the families’ only child, they are being the emperor and

the princess. Because the family spoils them so much, they can get what they

want, parents do everything for them, so the children become dependent. There is

a big problem in the education from parents, they should not spoil their

children, let them to be independent. First, parents should not do all the

things, they should ask the kids to finish on their own, parents can lead the

kids to finish. Second, parents try to create some chances to exercise the kid.

They can ask the kids to clean the house, parents can give small money.

In the last several decades, our earth has been extremely polluted, such as

air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. In recent years, the

extreme weather becomes more and more frequent. Winter gets colder and summer

becomes hotter and it rains more frequently. All of these warn us that

protecting the environment is a serious and emergent event. As our general

people, we should build proper lifestyle. We should pay attention to water and

light saving. When we go out, we should firstly choose the public

transportation. The most important is that we must realize that we can do a lot

of things to protect our environment. Its our duty to make our home better.
