粽子是中国的传统美食。传说粽子的来历和屈原有关，据说屈原投江后，人们为了纪念他，又为了让他的尸体不让鱼吃掉，就用粽叶裹上糯米投到江里，之后演变成今天的粽子。所以粽子在我国已经有两千多年的历史了，真是历史悠久的美食。

粽子是用糯米做成的，糯米里面包着各种馅，比如有红枣、豆沙、肉、蛋黄等等馅儿，外面裹着粽叶，粽叶外面用绳子绑紧，扎成不同的形状。粽子的形状一般是锥形和枕头型的。

我很喜欢吃粽子，尤其是肉粽子或者是蛋黄粽子。周六，妈妈答应教我包粽叶，我兴奋极了。我和妈妈去菜市场买材料，买了糯米、五花肉和粽叶。回到家之后，妈妈告诉我泡粽叶和糯米。我就用两个盆放上水，分别把粽叶和糯米放到水里。泡粽叶的时候要小心啊，叶子的边缘有小刺，防止划伤手指。

妈妈把五花肉切成小块，要半肥半瘦，然后再放酱油、黄酒等腌制半小时。之后，我们把所有的材料都摆到餐桌上，然后就开始做了。我先观察妈妈怎么做的。妈妈将两片粽叶交叉，做成一个“无顶倒三角”的漏斗，但是底部是不漏的。然后在里面加上一半糯米，再用拳头使劲地把糯米压实，如果不压实，煮熟的粽子剥开会散架。再把中间用挖出一个洞，把肉放进去，在肉上压一层糯米，把一片粽叶盖过来，一片粽叶裹过去，裹完，最后用绳子捆好。

我看妈妈做的很简单，可是我却问题百出，不是馅漏出来了，就是粽叶裹得太松了，一点也没有样子，简直就是“四不像”。妈妈包好了三个粽子，我还在满头大汗地反复包第一个，我真想放弃啊。妈妈说：“别着急，第一次都这样，慢慢来一定可以包好的。“”
