HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION 我如何度过暑假

No sooner had the summer vacation begun than I returned to my native town. Of course I must make good use of it; otherwise I would incur the displeasure of my parents.

In the morning I reviewed my lessons and read newspapers or magazines. In the afternoon I played ball games with my friends or went fishing in the river. At night (In the night) I watched television with my family (the members of my family). hardly had the clock on the wall struck ten when I went to bed.

暑假刚一开始，我就回故乡了。自然我须好好利用它，否则我会招致父母的不快。

早晨我复习功课并阅读报纸或杂志。下午我和朋友打球，或去河中钓鱼。晚上我就和家人看看电视。墙上的钟刚敲十下，我就去睡觉了。

初中生活，是我的手指轻按琴键弹开的美丽花朵。在那里，我体会到了生活的五味瓶，随知己一同倾听心语、倾听大自然的诉说;在那里我学会了正确的选择，我不选择安逸，不选择懒散，不选择无休止的玩闹;我选择的是征服困难的勇气和奋发向上的精神，我选择的是孜孜不倦的追求和收获果实的喜悦。

初中生活让我明白青春是一首美妙的歌，她需要我们用勤奋和进取来谱写。

每当暑假一到，我都会很高兴。想到有两个月的时间可以不用上课，那简直就是一年当中最美好的时光了。日子一天天不断过去了，暑假终於到来了!

妈妈送我去学游泳。我们一进到游泳池，就看见许多大人和小孩，男的，女的在游泳池里游泳和嬉闹，十分热闹，我恨不得马上跳进游泳池去，可是不行呀!我不会游泳，有危险，会淹死人的。妈妈看着我跟教练学游泳。我去很多次才能学会游泳。第一次学闭气和潜水。我跳进游泳池，水就进了鼻孔，鼻子酸酸的，有点害怕。教练说:怕水还能学游泳我鼓起勇气，闭气把头潜入水里，这样多次潜水，我就会了。第二次学打水和夹水，我练了又练，终于在教练的帮助下，我学会了打水和夹水，第三次学蛙泳，就像青蛙那样在水里游，可是我不会换气，只能闭一口气游，游不远。第四次学换气，先站在水里，在水面上吸一口气，把头潜入水里呼气来，可是一边游一边换气就难了，这次没有学会换气，下次我一定要学会。我就坚持练下去，有了很大的进步。

现在已经开学了，我还是很怀念佛光山夏令营的一切，因为那是最难忘的回忆!

明天就是外婆65岁的生日了，我想做一张贺卡送给她。

我先找出一张大红色的硬卡纸，把它剪成长方形再对折。然后在别的纸上剪了两个字：“长寿”。接着找来四根长纸条对折后再对折。准备好这些后，我先把“长寿”固定在纸条上，然后把它们粘在硬卡纸上。就这样，两个立体的“长寿”字就被我贴在了贺卡上。

翻开贺卡，我在贺卡的左半面画了一只高傲的鸡，之所以我要画鸡，是因为外婆属鸡。在图画的下面，我写上了一行字“外婆：祝你生日快乐!身体健康!万事大吉!”

我想，如果外婆看到了这份礼物，一定会喜欢的。

My Family

My family includes three people and a pet. These three people are my father, my mother , and I. I also have a cat named cookie.

My mother is caring and hardworking, too. She’s a chemist and often works very late. Nevertheless, she is always there to take care of me. Though her expectations for me are very high. I know she only wants what’s best for me.

My cat, cookie, is a member of my family, too. She is a cute black and white cat. At times I find her eager to play. But usually she’s sleeping on the sofa. I never know what surprises she’ll bring next.

另外，假期里我每天除了看书和玩之外，我还学了游泳，这让我在炎热的夏天，在清凉的水中，可以像鱼儿一样自由自在的游来游去。对了，还有必不可少的学习，我每天都要写，至少五页的暑假作业，听一遍英语。

好不容易等到了一次“特殊”的星期天，爸爸说：不如我们去鲅鱼圈的大海吧。我和妈妈都兴奋的回答道：太好了!我们坐了半个小时的车，路

过了月亮湖…终于到大海了，一到大海，瞬间感觉自己的心情舒畅了许多。

我迫不及待地换上泳衣，我让爸爸教我游泳，爸爸在浅水区用双手托住我的

身体，爸爸说：头要左右摇，手臂要前后推水，脚要上下扑水…Y过了个多小时的训练，我终于成功了，爸妈也为我高兴。

到了中午，海面退潮了，我们开始捡给蜊和螃蟹，爸爸妈妈拿着桶，见了好多海鲜，今天我们的收获可大了。我们正准备回家，这时有一个年轻人把吃完的海鲜壳乱扔，我们见了很生气：你这样是破坏环境，海水都已经浑浊了，你这样是雪上加霜!妈妈很生气的说，那位年轻人感到羞愧万分，于是主动把海鲜捡起来了，最后，我们满载而归。

每个人都有一个不同寻常的暑假生活，有事美好的，我的暑假生活是美妙的，我将把这美好的回忆永远藏在心中。

中午刚吃完饭，我就迫不及待地催促妈妈赶快陪我去学轮滑。到了喜盈门范城后，我和妈妈便开始找学轮滑的地方，终于在喜盈门商城中央看到许多小朋友在那里滑，有的在一点点移动，活像一只只笨拙的小企鹅;有的快速地奔跑着，像一只只轻盈的小燕子。我看了心中直痒痒，恨不得马上加入他们的队伍中。我急急忙忙地穿上了轮滑鞋，按照教练教的方法，先把背弓起来，双手放在背后，把重心放在脚上面，一步一步朝前跨。我在地毯上走了几圈后，觉得没什么难度，便主动要求到平地上去滑。教练小心翼翼地扶着我，生怕我摔跤。我把一只脚放到平地上，没事，把第二只脚放上去，还是没事，但走起路来就难了，我刚想跨出第一步，没想到脚刚抬起来就重心不稳，摔了个“嘴啃泥”，我抱着摔疼的膝盖，想：什么嘛，这么难学，我不学算了!后来我又想，这是我自己要求学习轮滑的，我一定要坚持下去!于是，我擦擦眼睛站了起来，继续慢慢滑，渐渐的，我掌握了技巧，不再需要教练扶着我了，自己可以扶着围栏不快不慢地往前滑了，又过了一会儿，我可以不扶栏杆往前滑了。就这样，一下午，我摔倒了，爬起来，一遍，二遍，慢慢地，我越来越熟练。终于，我学会了轮滑，虽然我的-受了不少“罪”，但我依然很开心。

我的一天

that we have to fight against the heavy traffic when we go out. Especially

For the sake of our life and security, some measures must be taken to

美丽的暑假——抓猫。我的奶奶在老家可闲了，所以就雇了一块地，养起了鸡鸭鹅……暑假的时候我可是那儿的常客，不是因为鸡鸭鹅太可爱了，而是因为在地里边有着一群可爱的小猫。我一手拿着水枪，一手则拿着弟弟递给我的扫帚，水枪朝屋顶上的大母猫射去，由于母猫所在的屋顶“海拔”过高，我便挥舞着另一只手上的扫帚，华丽丽地一打，还是以失败告终。于是，我请来了奶奶，三下两除二，我们就用了美食计把猫抓住了，不过我们还是把猫放回去了。

美丽的暑假——做年糕。在乡下奶奶家，我把早已准备好的几斤大米倒入事先装好水的盆子里，泡了15分钟之后，便小心翼翼的洗了起来，洗好之后，就把米放进一个大桶里，这大桶真奇怪，桶底有个洞，洞里有滤网，还堵着一个塞子!把水装进大桶，再把盖子盖上;然后，往锅里倒水，将大桶放进去，生火后等15分钟就可以出锅了。出锅后，打开桶的盖子，一锅热气腾腾的粥就出现在你眼前。为什么要煮粥呢?我问了问奶奶，问过奶奶，才知道这样子大米才会更柔软。我盯着奶奶，奶奶把塞子打开，刷的一下，粥水便流了出来，原来塞子是有着这么一个作用啊!

下一个步骤是把水沥干，我费了九牛二虎之力，水才干了，接下来我把沥干水分的米饭倒到石磨上，只见奶奶拿着大锤，往米饭上用力地捶，还不是翻了翻，我捶了几下就累得受不了了，这个艰巨的任务只得交给奶奶了，奶奶捶了几下，又拿到厨房里去蒸，蒸了又捶，捶了又蒸，一个大大的酷似面团的米团出现在我面前，接下来的任务交给我和爷爷了。

这一次的任务是定型，我往手上抹了点油，再揪出一个米团子，揉圆了，再压出一个不大不小的‘饼’来。过了十五分钟，这个任务也完成了。奶奶把我们自己做的年糕切成段，煎了煎后，加上酱油，一道美味的酱油年糕就完成了。

暑假真美丽啊!我还想再回到那美丽的暑假。

I read an article today. It was about how people should try their best to

save water. Water is very important for human being but some people are just

wasting water. They dont turn off the tap after they finish using it. We should

do better to save water.

我今天读了一篇文章，是关于人们应该尽量节约用说的。水对人类太重要了。可是有些人却只是在浪费水。他们用完水不管龙头。我们应该做的更好来节约用说。

I have a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as

well as focus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the most

important in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it.

Therefore, I finished my homework first, so that it won’t bother my enjoyment

during the festival. I finished my home work in one week. And I went shopping

with my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then,

it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. My

parents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinner

was so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and I

visited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went out for

fun together. We children were always the most excited. Now, holiday is coming

to the end and I will go to school soon. I am so happy that I have a wonderful

winter holiday.
