As is known to us all, the most precious thing in the world is nothing but

“today”. Therefore, it is necessary and significant for us to manage our time

efficiently. There are some suggestions and methods to manage our time.

对于雪有些人可能觉得它是唯美的，是纯洁的，但也有人觉得它是寒冷的，是讨厌的……在一次放学的路上我有了对雪独特的感觉。

Im just writing to let you know that were all well, and I hope you are, too. Unfortunately, Ive got some rather bad news for you: Im afraid I made a bit of a mess of Johns car. Anyway, heres what happened.

We were on our way to Carols after a long party, and I suppose it must have been about eleven o’clock. Well, the last few miles back home were really dark and deserted. I now realize I was probably going a bit too fast for a country lane because, although the road was fairly straight, I drove up onto the curb and went into a tree.

Of course, John was absolutely furious and started shouting at me and cursing. After we d argued for a few moments, we decided to look at the damage, and he calmed down a bit. Well, we found we could move the car, but the wing was caught on the wheel, so we couldnt drive it. I tried to pull the wing clear, but I didnt succeed.

Anyway, John went off to phone for a breakdown lorry, but while he was away, I had another go at the wing and this time succeeded in pulling it right off. I threw it onto the back seat, and by that time John got back and we were ready to go?so we didnt need the breakdown lorry at all. John has more or less forgiven me now, but he was very angry with me for a few days. I suppose I was a bit careless.

Well, thats all for now. Next time I write I hope Ill have better news for you.

月样那是一个夏季，太阳暴晒在空中，蝉鸣烦燥地响着，花草破烈日俘虏了，低了下头，他们脚下是片干裂的土地。闷热笼罩了整个城镇，温度表上的温度还在不等地爬高，依然没有下降的打算。街道上很静，车子几乎没有，我和几位同学走在上学的路上，我们一路上不停地擦着汗，都期盼早点到校可在烈日下总感觉这条路是无尽地，永远也走不到底。这时一位同学说话了：“大家看！快看那！。”

我们顺着他说的方向望去，那里有位拉着笨重的木块车的老大爷，他吃力的拉着车，虽然车上没东西但他还是拉得很慢，走一步停一步用毛巾擦汗。“我们去帮忙把！”“嗯！”“同意”“去！”“我们走吧，行动。”我们大步流星地冲上去，“我们来帮忙了。”老大爷笑了笑，擦了汗珠说：“谢谢你们了小朋友。”我们在后面用力一推，车轮滚动了，速度在加速这，那位老大爷也在前方拉着顺着速度，味着节奏，迈开他的大腿跑动起来，豆大的汗珠滚滚而来，“行了可以了，谢谢你们。”“不谢……应……应该的。”我们喘着粗气，走向学校，虽然很热但很快乐，也许这就叫助人为乐把！

滴！滴！滴！窗外车鸣打断了我的思路，那个夏日，那份快乐让我怀念。

Here is a difference between science and technology.Science is a method of

answering theoretical questions; technology is a method of solving practical

problems. Science has to do with discovering the facts and relationships between

observable phenomena in nature and with establishing theories that serve to

organize these facts and relationships; technology has to do with

tools,techniques, and procedures for implementing the findings of science.

Another distinction between science and technology has to do with the

progress in each. Progress in science excludes the human factor. Scientists, who

seek to comprehend the universe and know the truth with the highest degree of

accuracy and certainty, cannot pay heed to their own or other peoples likes or

dislikes, or to popular ideas about the fitness of things. What scientists

discover may shock or anger people--as did Darwins theory of evolution. But

even an unpleasant truth is more than likely to be useful; besides, we have the

option of refusing to believe it! But hardly so with technology;we do not have

the option of refusing to hear the sonic boom produced by a supersonic

aircraft-flying overhead; we do not have the option of refusing to breathe

polluted air. Unlike science, progress in technology must be our slave and not

the reverse. The legitimate purpose of technology is to serve peopie--people in

general, not merely some people; and future generations, not merely those who

presently wish to gain advantage for themselves.

We are all familiar with the abuses of technology. Many people blame

technology itself for widespread pollution, resource depletion and even social

decay in general--so much so that the promise of technology is obscured. That

promise is a cleaner and healthier world. If wise applications of science and

technology do not lead to a better world, what else will?

真好。又到双休日了！我睡够懒觉刚起床，就听见妈妈在喊我：“洋洋！”“唉。”“起床了。”“起来了。”“一会儿吃完饭，你坐班车去姥姥家吧！”太好了！姥姥家住城里，我巴不得天天去呢！

我刚到车站，班车就来了。车上，人很多，也很挤，但大家都很守规矩。“来，小朋友，坐这儿吧。”临近车门的一位胖叔叔忙站起来给我让座。怎么好意思呢，“不了，您坐吧！”我推让着。“你坐吧。”胖叔叔早已站了起来，向座儿后站去。也许叔叔快到站了吧，那我就不客气了：“谢谢叔叔！”他冲我一笑，摆了摆手。我真幸运！一上车就有座儿。我美滋滋地坐下了。

一站，两站……，那位胖叔叔依然远远地站着。我有些不好意思：人家是有意把座儿让给我，我还得意呢。这时，一位白发老爷爷上车了，我立刻站起来：“老爷爷，您坐我这儿吧！”“孩子，你坐吧。”“不了，您坐！”“唉——，这孩子真懂事儿！”老爷爷万分感激地坐下了。

过了一站又一站，老爷爷几次让我坐回去，我都婉言谢绝了。虽然腿有点累，但心里却很舒服，很愉快：我没给少先队员抹黑！妈妈知道了，也一定会夸我的……我正在胡思乱想，车停了，一位大姐姐扶着一位拄着拐杖的残疾大妈上车了。“大妹子，你坐这儿吧。”大妈吃力地摆摆手。“来来来，你站着不方便，我没事，快到站了。”“老爷爷，谢谢您！”那位姐姐说。“还谢啥呀，快扶她坐下！”大妈吃力地坐下了。

班车在走走停停中，又过了好长时间，终于到达市内终点站了。人们在说笑声中下车了。无意间，我看见那位胖叔叔和那位白发老爷爷，都在刚刚下车的人流中。他们走路很吃力，但看得出来，脸上都洋溢着笑容。

“洋洋——！”“姥姥！”我兴高采烈地奔向早已等候在不远处的姥姥。

My family lives in Hsi-hu. there are four people in my family. they are my father， my mother， my sister and I. My father is tall and thin. He is a handsome man. He has big eyes. His hair is straight. He likes to watch TV and movies and read books. My mother works in an office. She cooks very well. She likes to read books， too. She is short and thin. My sister is a student. Everybody knows that our life is very short, so the great educators always

The Dragon Boat Festival， also called the Duanwu Festival， is celebrated on

the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. This

festival is to commemorate the death of QU Yuan， an upright and honest poet and

statesman who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a

river.

The most important activity of this festival is the Dragon Boat races. It

symbolizes people‘s attempts to rescue Qu Yuan. In the current period， these

races also demonstrate the virtues of cooperation and teamwork.

Besides， the festival has also been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous

rice). Zongzi is made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and

wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. People who mourned the death of Qu threw Zong

zi into the river to feed his ghost every year.

With the changes of the times， the memorial turns to be a time for

protection from evil and disease for the rest of year. People will hang healthy

herbs on the front door to clear the bad luck of the house. Although the

significance of the festival might be different with the past， it still gives

the observer an opportunity to glimpse a part of the rich Chinese cultural

heritage.

As for me, I have a special emotion to autumn. Autumn always gives me a

kind of feeling which can make me forget sorrow. Every time when autumn comes, I

am always glad to feel the beautiful season. I can enjoy myself in this great

season.

I like the wind of autumn. It is cool and comfortable. When the wind kisses

my face, I will close my eyes and smile. I know that wind brings me the breath

of autumn. She lets me understand that autumn is full of happiness. I can smell

听说明天要举行包粽子，我们都很高兴，蹦蹦跳跳的。当然，我也做好了包粽子的准备。可是我还不会包粽子呀！哎——！有了！在放学的路上我问我的母亲粽子是怎样包的，我的母亲就把包粽子的材料和怎样包粽子的要领大概意思给说了一遍，我半信半疑。

当拿着拼好的第一个模形时我很开心，我知道不论是拼模型还是做其它事情，光有耐心是不够的，还要有足够的细心才行。

后来我又拼出了好几个各种各样的模型，感觉很有成就感。

我追求全面发展，兴趣广泛，除认真学习课本知识外，我还特别喜欢看书、绘画、唱歌和弹琴。闲暇时，我总是挤出时间来看书，我喜欢看的书有《十万个为什么》、《中国青少年百科全书》、《纸上天文馆》、《格林童话》、《小学生科学知识故事》……开卷有益”、“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”，正是由于我养成了良好的看书习惯，促进了我写作水平的提高，我的作文多次作为范文在班级交流，在学校荣获阅读一等奖。自九岁起，就一直在学习拉丁舞。

我有一腔勇于负责的精神。在学校里我是老师的得力小助手，同学们的好服务员。我从小学一年级开始当选为班长，自当上班长那一天起，我就用稚嫩的肩膀承担起了一份责任。在各项活动中我总是积极参与，充分发挥自己的特长，为班级赢得了很多的荣誉。因为我是班长，劳动时我总是抢着干最脏最重的活儿，从不偷懒，也不会拿出班长的架子只指挥别人干，下课后同学们休息我却还在忙着收发作业本。有同学不守纪律了，我会及时给同学们指出来。有同学遇到不懂的问题了我会耐心辅导，连放学后还有同学甚至是家长找我问这问那。对于这些，我从没有半句怨言。

我爱学习、爱思考、勤于实践，坚持努力学好各门功课，并且积极参加形式多样的课外活动，了解社会，有一定的实践能力。我善于观察，勤学好问，根据自己的想象，经常在家制作一些小东西，种植一些小植物，实践让我吸取了甘甜，拥有了丰润，丰满了羽翼。

这就是我——蒋梦涵，一个既有爱心、责任心和恒心，又多才多艺的女孩。

心愿就像一双翅膀，可以带我们飞往想象的天空;心愿就是一盏明灯，可以照亮我们前进的道路;心愿是一朵美丽的花，它在心中发芽，梦中开花，梦中结果，散发出一阵阵清新的芳香。

在我的心里埋藏着一个小小的心愿，那就是当一位画家。

从小到现在，我对绘画的喜爱依旧不减。小时候的涂涂画画，现在的一张水粉画，里面承载着我的努力与心血。

一天放学，我与往常一样，向美术室走去。刚走进去，我便眼前一亮，一张线条柔美、色彩和谐的画，干净利落的平放在桌上。我心想：一定是一个大姐姐画的。可一问，竟然是一个比我还小的女孩画的，再看一看我的画，忍不住叹了口气!可我一定会加倍努力的。

之后，我的绘画水平逐日增高，这也使我迎来了第一次绘画比赛。比赛时，我画了一张非常好的画，嗯，我有点老王卖瓜——自卖自夸了。意想不到的是，我得了一等奖，还要到武汉去参赛。起初，我兴奋得不行，可到了比赛那天——我的腿像灌了铅一样，迟迟不敢移动。但突然想起心中的愿望还没发芽，便打起精神来。走进考场，拿起画笔，在画纸上尽情挥舞。几天后，结果没得奖，心中无比失望。虽然没有让这个心愿发芽，但我对绘画的兴趣是永远不会淡化的。

心愿它就是一个仙子，在每个人的心里播撒着希望，把快乐带到每一个角落。

Today, with the fast development of science and technology, the artificial

intelligence has gone much further than people can imagine, such as the robot.

Now the first robot is admitted to be a citizen, which scares so many people.

Many scientists had predicted that someday robots would replace human being not

only in physical work, but also in minds. How terrible it would be. It is said

that scientists saw two robots discussing by creating a new language, then they

decided to turn down the machine and made them stop working. They knew clearly

the danger may happen in the future. Most people have thought about

self-consciousness that robot may have some day, but scientists still have a lot

of passion in searching the robots. They want to complete everything. But no one

can make sure what they can bring for human being.
