It was already late when we set out for the next town, fifteen miles away on the other side of the hills. It got dark soon; we drove fast along the narrow winding road that led to the hills. my father is a nice man. he likes to play computer games. he is an owner of a factory which produces many things .he is good at designing. he works very hard. i love him very much because, sometimes, i can help him to do something in his factory .he is always on business trips because he has his business everywhere so it takes up too much of his time .

My birtiday is on 24th May. I always have both happy and sad feelings on my birthday. Why I am happy? I have group of friends that come over to celebrate with me. Mid-Autumn Day，all the country is celebrating. The streets are full of

people， the loves are holding each other tightily.Everyone has his day.However，I

Chusok ("fall evening") is a Korean "Harvest Moon" (Han-gawi) festival set

on the 15th day of the eighth lunar moon. Chusok (韩国中秋节)， also known as the

Korean Thanksgiving or Mid-Autumn Festival， is one of the most celebrated Korean

holidays. It occurs during the harvest season. Thus， Korean families take this

time to thank their ancestors for providing them with rice and fruits.

The celebration starts on the night before Chusok and ends on the day after

the holiday. Thus， many Korean families take three days off from work to get

together with family and friends.

The celebration starts with a family get-together at which rice cakes

called "Songphyun" (蒸糕) are served. These special rice cakes are made of rice，

beans， sesame seeds， and chestnuts. Then the family pays respect to ancestors by

visiting their tombs and offering them rice and fruits. The Koreans visit the

graves of their ancestors to bow and clean the area for the coming winter. In

the evening， children wear their favorite hanbok (traditional Korean clothing)

and dance under the bright moon in a large circle. They play games and sing

songs. Like the American Thanksgiving， Chusok is the time to celebrate the

family and give thanks for their blessings.

Community activities include masked dance， Kanggangsuwollae， an ancient

circle dance， tug-of-wars and the tortoise game， kobuk-nori (乌龟游戏)， in which two

men dress as a tortoise and tour the village dancing and performing for food and

drink. Most of all， Chusok is a time to give thanks for the autumn harvest and

reaffirm familial and community ties.

When we attend university, the moment we choose our major, which most

probably means the job we will work on in the future. Some people choose to work

on what they like and give up doing something that is related to their major. A

girl made such decision. She learned music in the top university. After

graduated, she found that she liked to be away from the noisy city, so she chose

to run that farm his father left to her. It seemed so ridiculous for such an

这似乎是个愚蠢的问题,任何清醒的人遇到跌倒的老人都会伸出援助之手。但在中国，这个问题变得棘手。很多新闻报道说有些老人不只是跌倒而已，他们是故意这么做的。通常他们会走到人潮涌动的街头，假装晕倒或者是直接躺在地上，想要指控那些来帮助他的人为肇事者，敲诈他们要治疗费。很多人都上当了，由于没有目击者证明他们的清白，他们被迫支付了费用。正因为这些负面新闻，人们害怕去帮助那些需要帮助的老人，也因此造成了那些真正有困难的老人没有得到及时的帮助。我曾经问我一个朋友：“为什么现在的老人变坏了?如果你在街上看到这样的老人你会帮助吗?”他说：“不是老人变坏了，是坏人变老了。我会先录像让他做一个声明，再决定是否帮助他。”

There are four seasons in a year.They are spring,summer,autumn and

winter.Every season has three months and each month has about thirty days.

The first season is spring.In spring time we have warm weather and sunny

days.There are many beautiful flowers in the gardens and in the fields.The birds

begin to sing their songs.Everything comes to life again.

The second season we call summer.In summer the weather is very hot and it

rains a lot.All trees are beautiful with their green leaves.The sky is very

clear and blue,and the sunshine is much stronger than that in other seasons,so

many people go to the seaside or the mountains to avoid the heat.

Autumn is the third season of the year.In autumn the weather becomes cooler

day by day.It is the best season we have.So many people like it very

much,especially the farmers.They are very busy with their harvest.

The last season is winter.It comes with frost and snow.The weather grows

colder and colder,and much snow falls.But winter is not very long with us,for

spring comes again soon.

期末成绩出来，很高兴我又荣获佳绩，虽然有些不足，但依然让我特别开心，笑容已经代表不出我内心满满的喜悦。

和月考和期中两段对比，这次发挥刚好合我心意，它反映出了我取胜的关键，也说明了其中不足问题所在，需要的是保持和改正。有则改之。，无则加勉，在这次考试中，用实力又证明了许多优秀的同学，用实力说话让我记住了他们，我又遇到了两个强劲的对手一—寇冠宇和宋亚轩。因为他俩颇高的文化成绩，让他俩的光茫一下子就迸射了出来，成为了闪亮的一点。

不可否认的还有，一段班长经历也确实让我成长了许多以前我并不愿意当干部，也许嫌麻烦，我和班长、队长……这些一点不搭边，怕自己管理太多，一点时间都没有，后来的我，也就把责任和榜样送给了别人。那时的我总认为，安静自己干事才是最好的方法，直到我自己当上了班长，组织班会，统计名单，一声上课时的“起立”，把我的心带动了起来，愿意为大家开会，愿意承担责任，愿意代表出席。从那时起，我的肩膀上担着一份对八班的责任，它开始变得沉甸甸，因为责任重千金。起初怕学习被耽误，但最终谢老师对于这份责任的安排让我打消了那份逃避，我只需要在同样的时间内做好自己就行，把握好这份责任，是我最重要的事情，所以点点滴滴的榜样力量让我慢慢成长。

有时候，我们不得不承认，责任一但被担负起来就变成了一种动力，这种力量推进着自身的成长，将自己铸造为一个真正可靠的榜样，把原本麻烦的事情转化为了一件快乐的事，让负责成了变得拥有价值。

Calligraphy is the essence of Chinese culture, which has developed into a special high-level art apart from satisfying the needs of daily writing. It has been flourishing for thousands of years in China. Shops with strong commercial atmosphere will gain some elegance if they are decorated with some quaint cultural calligraphic works. Sitting rooms, studies and bedrooms can be nice-looking with calligraphy works decorated. As a kind of art work, the writing of calligraphy is particular. The Chinese characters are written on Xuan paper which absorbs ink very well and then are mounted to hang on a wall. The calligraphy works are mostly a poem or a motto that the host of the room likes it much; if it is written by the host himself, it will demonstrate more his aspiration and interest as well as his talent.

书法是中国文化的精粹，除了满足日常书写外，它已经上升成为一门特别的高等艺术。他兴旺于中华大地数千年而不衰。商业气息浓重的店面装饰一些具有古色古香、文化色彩的书法作品就会平添几分高雅。书法作品也常常装饰客厅，书房和卧室。作为一种艺术，书法的书写是很讲究的。汉字写在吸水性很强的宣纸上，然后再装裱起来挂上墙壁。书法作品多半是居室主人所喜爱的一首诗词或是一句格言;如果这是他自己所作，那就更能显示他的志趣和才华了。
