大年三十的晚上，家家户户都要吃年饭，代表岁岁团圆。家人的团聚往往令家里的长辈们在精神上得到安慰与满足，老人家眼看儿孙满堂，一家大小共叙天伦，过去的关怀与抚养子女所付出的心血总算没有白费，这是何等的幸福。而年轻一辈，也正可以借此机会向父母的养育之恩表达感激之情。吃完年饭，一家人聚在一起，庆祝新一年的到来。大年三十的晚上更是火树银花不夜天，家家灯火通明，处处礼花朵朵，鞭炮声声。大家一起守岁，告别如水似已逝去的岁月，憧憬对新一年的希望。在大年三十的晚上还要放一挂鞭，叫做“出行”，代表踏上一年的脚步。

初一、初二各家就要走访亲戚，四处问好，拜年，串门子。晚辈起床后，要先向长辈拜年，祝福长辈健康长寿，万事如意。长辈受拜以后，要将事先准备好的 “压岁钱”分给晚辈，代表岁岁平安。拜年也是亲戚朋友之间互相表达祝愿的一种方式。在初一的早晨还要放一挂鞭，这是挂开门炮，是个开门爆竹，为了祈求竹报平安，图个吉利，代表开门红。

随着第一项的结束，第二项又开始了——登山。我们老家有许多山，风景可美了!尤其是在下雪时，一天后，树啊，房子啊，山啊，穿上了雪白的衣裤。我们常常拿着相机拍摄着美丽的风景，比比谁拍的最美、最好。

终于到了最后一项——吃年夜饭。厨房里面冒着热腾腾的热气，整个村子都闻到了香味。平常吃不到的食材，都上了桌，我们早早的占了位置，看到这么多食物，都开始你争我抢地吃了起来，大人们看到我们狼狈不堪的样子，都开始哈哈大笑了!

到了晚上，我们看了“春节联欢晚会”，到了十二点，外面已经放起了烟花爆竹。

“千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符。”新的一年来了，我又长大了一岁，做了一个十二岁的五年级同学。我会做一个懂事的孩子，做一个大哥哥大姐姐的样子!

To tell you the truth，I don t like the Spring Festival at all. When I was young I liked it very much，because I could had something tasty to eat during the Spring Festival，and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes，too，I also could had much free time during which I could did something I liked to do. I don t like it now， there are many reasons.

Firstly，I can t have a good time during the Festival. Every New Year s Eve something unpleasant often happens. Once I quarreled with my second brother.
