晚上才是重头戏，鞭炮声要响一整个晚上。一家人聚在一起吃年夜饭————其实也就是杂烩。整盆的年菜，整盆的馒头，一段出来就让人独自直叫。大人都要喝酒，女人们聊着些家常，孩子们也在吃东西。还必须把菜加给孩子和长辈们。

吃过年夜饭后，最耐不住的就是孩子们，会拿着早就扎好的灯笼出门。除夕晚上是很热闹的，这天晚上分外亮堂。孩子们人手一盏灯笼，有纸糊的，有动物的，有卡通的，还有电动的，自然是琳琅满目。

这天晚上是一年中最吵的。每个孩子都会放炮，不到天亮绝对不会停。

正月初一这天虽说不如除夕热闹，但是人们依旧很快乐。大街上全是昨夜燃放过的爆竹纸皮。

大一点的孩子要提着礼当去给亲戚朋友家拜年，一天下来，压岁钱也收了不少，压岁钱是每个孩子的“痛处”，压岁钱一般都会被父母收走。

鞭炮声想起又落下，过年这出戏就演完了，尽管来年还会重复同样的戏码，但是每一年都有不同的欢乐，不同的年味，不同的喜庆。
