Why have elephants in South Africa faced so dangerous situation?First of all,some illegal merchants catch the elephants for their tusks to make all kinds of ormaments and medicine.For the other,The area of their habitates has been increasingly decreasing.Some effective measures must be taken to solve thes problems.

As far as I am concerned,the goveronment should make serious regulations to forbid catching elephant and punish those who catch elephant badly.Besides,we should try our best to protect the habitas of those elephant,which is essential for therir existance.Moreover,more volunteers should spread the message of the importance of protecting the South Africas elephant.

If we do not take sound solution to protect,the fantastic species--=elephants in South Africa will become extinct .

如果我是一棵树，我希望有许多人在我脚边乘凉，我希望每天都有小孩在我四周玩耍，我还希望有小鸟住在我的手臂上，让我不会太无聊，因为小鸟可和我聊天说笑，而且天天看鸟儿的生活作息，也是满有乐趣的。

如果我是一棵树，我不希望我的同伴一个一个被摧毁，我不希望我们被人类嘲笑，我不希望人类在我身上恶作剧或刻字，我更不希望人类把我砍掉，结束我的生命。我们帮人类做成桌子、椅子、梯子、房子等，可是人类并没有报答我们，反而还鄙视我们、对我们搞怪，我猜总有一天，全世界的树会展开杀死人类的计划，为世界上所有的树讨回公道，并警告人类，不要再这样对待我们了。

我不喜欢当树，因为树只能一直站在原地，一动也不动，这种感觉非常的不好，要是发生森林大火，我们不能逃走，只能在原地活活被烧死吗?要是人类来砍我们，我们只能乖乖地让他砍，我还宁愿好久没下雨而枯死，而不是被砍死!但我们也该满足了，因为站在原地不动，可以看见四季的变化，甚至如果活更久，可能看见上百年到上千年的变化，所以当树也不是只有缺点，也是会有优点的!

如果我是一棵树，我想对人类说：“不要再对我们恶作剧，也不要再在我们身上刻字，不要再嘲笑、鄙视我们，最重要的是，不要再砍我们了。”希望人类会注意到我们在对他们说话，并且改过，这样我们会原谅他们的。但人类永远也想像不出我们树木被砍的感觉是什么。

It seems we are living in the conflict between modern and traditional cultures every day.Hearing the blaring of horns the moment you step out of your house,seeing the so called "pop" the moment you open your eyes,you cant help thinking,"Will the traditional culture be gradually lost?"

Many people believe so.They may put right in front of you all the evidences they can dig out.They may argue that people are rushing to restaurants instead of cooking at home,listening to pop music but not traditional,wearing in a way people couldnt imagine ten years ago.Modern people like the air of freedom,not to be restrained by traditions.They offer this long list,only trying to confirm that this world is full of fashion,competition and temptation and the traditional culture is fading and will be lost at last.

Though we are now living in a world in which undeclared aggression,war,hypocrisy,chicanery,anarchy are part of our daily life.Though this is a skeptical age,and our faith has weakened,our confidence in some aspects of the traditional culture should and would never be lost.

Wouldnt you agree that our traditional culture is always credited with modesty,politeness and respectfulness,which have always been treasured for more than five thousand years?Even in this modern world,people still admire those with good manners,those who are polite to others or respectful to old people.

Wouldnt you agree that our Chinese traditional music is beautiful and artistic and our Chinese tea culture is always an appealing treasure to people around the world?

So there may just be some changes in our lifestyle or our attitudes towards life,but little change occurs to some fundamental aspects of our traditional culture that people still treasure in heart.

The traditional culture will never be lost,I believe.

Man and His Environment

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. The pollution of water is equally harmful. The whole ecological balance of the sea is being changed and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless.

Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know, massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence. Indifference to these problems will mean committing suicide. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve environment. Otherwise,man is certain to suffer from the serious consequences caused by this lack of care for his living surroundings.

春天到了，青蛙又开始“呱呱”地唱歌了，我发现又有人在田野里开始捕捉青蛙了，使青蛙成为那些人的“盘餐中”，我感到非常痛心。

青蛙吃苍蝇，蚊子，蝗虫，小飞娥等害虫，一天大约能吃掉120只，半年下来就能吃掉15000只，这是多么大的功劳哇!就连青蛙的幼虫 ------ 蝌蚪也能消灭许多害虫哩!真不愧“庄稼的保护神”，农民伯伯的好助手呀!

Frogs eat mosquitoes, flies, moths and other insects, locusts, a day can eat about 120, half a year down to eat 15000, this is how much credit wow! Even the frogs, tadpoles can destroy the larvae of many of the pests! Really deserves to be called "the protection of God, the farmers a good assistant!

从现在开始，我们一起保护“庄稼的保护神”------ 青蛙吧!让我们共同保护[动物]生态平衡!

最近，我们学校搞了踢毽子、跳绳比赛，同学们都积极练习，希望自己能参加这个有趣的活动。

可是，有谁注意到学校里的这些花草树木了啊？有的同学把毽子踢到了树上，就不管三七二十一，开始使劲地摇小树，小树摇着“头”抗议；有的同学把毽子一不小心踢到了花草丛中，不管小草和花疼不疼，就随随便便地想也不想进去拿毽子，花草的头一个个都耷拉了下来，像垂头丧气的孩子；甚至还有些同学把小树都给踩断了，多么可怕！……

有的草丛里面还有许多纸屑。我想：如果全校同学都行动起来，每人多弯一下腰，多捡一片纸，我们的校园就会更加美丽、干净！

保护环境，从我做起，从小事做起。保护环境，人人有责！大家快行动起来吧！
