Angel wasn’t satisfied with this vague answer and did his best to win Tess. Somehow she agreed and they soon fixed the wedding day. Soon after their wedding Angel confessed the crime he committed to a woman long time ago and asked for Tess’s forgiveness. Tess was not at all angry and forgave Angel at once; in fact she was rather happy and excited for she also had things to confess.

She sat and told everything to Angel, hoping he would forgive her as he was forgiven but she was wrong. She was not forgiven, not as she thought she was. The woman pays.

Without Angel’s love, nothing meant anything to her. The result wasn’t important now. Tess was arrested for her murder of that so-called gentleman. Why? She still loved Angel and when he finally went back to her and asked for HER forgiveness, after he regretted what he had done unfair to Tess, she was desperate. That was too late—Alec had always told Tess that Angel would never come back so he won Tess’s trust. Unluckily Angel did come back and found Tess.! Everything was too late!

Tess was deceived and she lost Angel for the second time! The strengh of her love was so strong that she had forgotten the difference between right and wrong. Before that she had done nothing wrong but when she killed Alec, everything really changed! She became a criminal! How could it be? She was as pure and innocent as the good wife in the Bible. Her whole character was honest and faithful. Angel figured out at last that a person should be judged not only on what he has done but also on what he wanted to do!

Tess didn’t want to be seduced by man and she had no power to defend herself so she lost her innocence and that’s all! Angel also did the wrong thing and it was even more serious than Tess’s crime but HE was not blamed for it. Why it is always the woman who pays? Why they are always hurt? Why was Tess’s girlish purity lost? Why does the wrong man take the wrong woman? Why do the bad often ruin the good? Why is beauty damaged by ugliness? Women are too weak! Thousands of years of history have shown us that women have always been treated unfairly!

In this sense it can be said that while Dickens sympathizes with the poor, he identifies with the rich: they are the books audience, its "us" rather than its "them". Crush humanity out of shape once more, under similar hammers, and it will twist itself into the same tortured forms. Sow the same seed of rapacious license and oppression over again and it will surely yield the same fruit according to its kind.

Once at the Lowood School, Jane finds that her life is far from idyllic. The school’s headmaster is Mr. Brocklehurst, a cruel, hypocritical, and abusive man. Brocklehurst preaches a doctrine of poverty and privation to his students while using the school’s funds to provide a wealthy and opulent lifestyle for his own family. At Lowood, Jane befriends a young girl named Helen Burns, whose strong, martyrlike attitude toward the school’s miseries is both helpful and displeasing to Jane. A massive typhus epidemic sweeps Lowood, and Helen dies of consumption. The epidemic also results in the departure of Mr. Brocklehurst by attracting attention to the insalubrious conditions at Lowood. After a group of more sympathetic gentlemen takes Brocklehurst’s place, Jane’s life improves dramatically. She spends eight more years at Lowood, six as a student and two as a teacher.

After teaching for two years, Jane yearns for new experiences. She accepts a governess position at a manor called Thornfield, where she teaches a lively French girl named Adèle. The distinguished housekeeper Mrs. Fairfax presides over the estate. Jane’s employer at Thornfield is a dark, impassioned man named Rochester, with whom Jane finds herself falling secretly in love. She saves Rochester from a fire one night, which he claims was started by a drunken servant named Grace Poole. But because Grace Poole continues to work at Thornfield, Jane concludes that she has not been told the entire story. Jane sinks into despondency when Rochester brings home a beautiful but vicious woman named Blanche Ingram. Jane expects Rochester to propose to Blanche. But Rochester instead proposes to Jane, who accepts almost disbelievingly.

The wedding day arrives, and as Jane and Mr. Rochester prepare to exchange their vows, the voice of Mr. Mason cries out that Rochester already has a wife. Mason introduces himself as the brother of that wife—a woman named Bertha. Mr. Mason testifies that Bertha, whom Rochester married when he was a young man in Jamaica, is still alive. Rochester does not deny Mason’s claims, but he explains that Bertha has gone mad. He takes the wedding party back to Thornfield, where they witness the insane Bertha Mason scurrying around on all fours and growling like an animal. Rochester keeps Bertha hidden on the third story of Thornfield and pays Grace Poole to keep his wife under control. Bertha was the real cause of the mysterious fire earlier in the story. Knowing that it is impossible for her to be with Rochester, Jane flees Thornfield.

Penniless and hungry, Jane is forced to sleep outdoors and beg for food. At last, three siblings who live in a manor alternatively called Marsh End and Moor House take her in. Their names are Mary, Diana, and St. John (pronounced “Sinjin”) Rivers, and Jane quickly becomes friends with them. St. John is a clergyman, and he finds Jane a job teaching at a charity school in Morton. He surprises her one day by declaring that her uncle, John Eyre, has died and left her a large fortune: 20,000 pounds. When Jane asks how he received this news, he shocks her further by declaring that her uncle was also his uncle: Jane and the Riverses are cousins. Jane immediately decides to share her inheritance equally with her three newfound relatives.

St. John decides to travel to India as a missionary, and he urges Jane to accompany him—as his wife. Jane agrees to go to India but refuses to marry her cousin because she does not love him. St. John pressures her to reconsider, and she nearly gives in. However, she realizes that she cannot abandon forever the man she truly loves when one night she hears Rochester’s voice calling her name over the moors. Jane immediately hurries back to Thornfield and finds that it has been burned to the ground by Bertha Mason, who lost her life in the fire. Rochester saved the servants but lost his eyesight and one of his hands. Jane travels on to Rochester’s new residence, Ferndean, where he lives with two servants named John and Mary.

At Ferndean, Rochester and Jane rebuild their relationship and soon marry. At the end of her story, Jane writes that she has been married for ten blissful years and that she and Rochester enjoy perfect equality in their life together. She says that after two years of blindness, Rochester regained sight in one eye and was able to behold their first son at his birth.

当我读完这本书时，我为自己尽早读到这本书而感到庆幸。《小王子》是一本清澈心灵的书，正如书中所说的，水对心是有益处的。而《小王子》就如水般澄清透彻，使人安宁并且心生暖意。

我对简单、干净的故事有种天生的爱好。在诗歌阅读上，我喜欢简短，也许是懒惰的缘故，也许不尽是。简单、留白会少去很多压迫感，会给人静谧如幽谷的感觉。

《小王子》的故事简单，文字素淡。我很轻松地就读了两遍，没有丝毫的倦意。童话也许就是对平淡生活的一种恩赐，他让你轻松地阅读，同时在轻松间也给予你一些东西，比如生活的纯真与美好，比如简单与清澈。

故事中的小王子对生活抱着认真的态度，他勤勉地疏通火山口，拔着猴面包树的幼苗。然而小王子是孤独的，在他心情低落的时候，他会提着凳子追着太阳看日落。只有欣赏日落时那脉脉含情的余晖，才是他唯一的乐趣。有幸的是一朵玫瑰进入了他的生活，玫瑰有着沉静的柔情，她在谎言被揭穿后会反复咳嗽，她是一朵美丽而且非常骄傲的花。她恋着忧伤的小王子，小王子也真诚地爱着玫瑰。然而一件小事最终却使他们分开，敏感的小王子因为玫瑰的一次恼怒而对爱生起怀疑，他离开了自己的星星，抛下了玫瑰，开始了自己孤单的旅行。

小王子在旅行中接触着新的人和物，比如为了躲避醉酒耻辱而喝酒的酒鬼，比如占有星星并自认为严肃的商人，但是小王子厌恶着他们的生活，他一路上只是感觉到大人的怪异和不可理喻。

“你们很美，但你们是空虚的。”小王子对她们说，“没有人能为你们去死。当然罗，我的那朵玫瑰花，一个普通的过路人以为她和你们一样。可是， 她单独一朵就比你们全体更重要，因为她是我浇灌的。因为她是我放在花罩中的。 因为她是我用屏风保护起来的。因为她身上的毛虫(除了留下两三只为了变蝴蝶 而外)是我除灭的。因为我倾听过她的怨艾和自诩，甚至有时我聆听着她的沉默。 因为她是我的玫瑰。”

小王子最后发现自己无法回去，他在降临地球的地方反复徘徊，并且深深想念着他的花儿。在不能回去的日子里，小王子会望着自己的星星。可是，最终忧伤脆弱的小王子无法忍受想念的痛苦，他要急切地回去，最后他选择了以蛇的毒液结束自己的生命，尽管他害怕痛苦，但是他认为这样就能抛下自己笨重的身体回去。最后小王子就像一棵树一样轻轻倒了下去，柔软的沙地，连一点声音也没有。

小王子是否回到了自己的家，是否过着快乐幸福的生活，我们不知道，但是我们会在心底祝福，正如小狐狸说的，眼睛是什么也看不到的，应该用心去寻找。在心中，我们能找到小王子和玫瑰的幸福。

《小王子》的故事是哀伤的，一个关于爱情的伤痛。爱得认真并且真诚，痛得切骨而且难以忍受。

小王子的爱情，纯净淡雅，诚恳认真。如果死能够使他回到自己的星星上，如果死能够让他和所爱的人相会，他会义无返顾地选择死去，因为他深沉地爱着她，因为他的心被玫瑰所驯服。他也是这么做 的，他轻轻地倒下，正如他无人知晓地来到地球。

梭罗说，人在过着静静的绝望的生活，他是远离人群的，阳光下去找寻一切颓废的根源，一无所获，这是一个落满灰尘的天堂。有幸的是我们的心中还有一个关于小王子的故事，忧伤但美好，小王子的忧伤是因单纯的爱恋;美好，是因为爱恋给人的感动和希望。

因为小王子的故事，我们在静静的生活时，心里有着希望和温存，有着感动和关于驯养的责任。

我们今天来谈谈一本书，那就是《小王子》。我先不说我有多么喜爱它，我先说说我的表现:我在一天之内把那本书读完了;到现在为止，我整整读了那本书四遍。你们肯定会觉得吃惊。但是我敢肯定，当你读完那本书是你也会读四遍。

这本书作者是飞行员作家(法)圣·埃克苏佩里写的。他的职业就是飞行员，生于1900年6月29日法国里昂。对于作者我就不介绍了。

这本书是关于一个飞行员坠机在撒哈拉大沙漠。在那里，他认识了小王子。飞行员和小王子的这几天，飞行员知道了一些关于小王子的故事。

这本书是关于孩子的。作者在献辞里写道:“献给莱昂·韦尔特，请孩子们原谅，我把这本书献给了一个大人。我这样做有三个重要的理由，其一是:这个大人是我在人世间最好的朋友;其二是:这个大人居住在法国，在那里他饥寒交迫，急需得到安慰;其三是:这个大人什么都能明白，就连那些写给孩子们的书他都能看懂。如果这些理由仍嫌不足的话，那么我愿把这本书献给长大成人的那个孩子。所有的大人原先都是孩子，但是他们中只有少数记得这一点。所以，我把我的献词改为:先给小男孩时的莱昂·韦尔特。”

北京出版社写道:“一个永不肯、也不会长大的小王子;一个关于爱与责任的寓言;一部温馨、真挚、感人，解读生命与生活的童话故事。”

还有一段我要说，你们仔细看:“成年人喜欢数字。当你跟他们说起一位新朋友的时候，他们从来不问你最本质的特征。比方说，他们从来不问“他的嗓音怎么样?他爱玩什么游戏?他是不是爱搜集蝴蝶标本?”他们只会问你:“他多大岁数?他有几个兄弟?他的父亲挣多少钱?”问清楚这些问题，他们就以为了解这个人了。你如果对成年人说:“我看见了一幢漂亮的红砖小房子，窗上爬满了天竺葵，屋顶上停憩着鸽子……”他们是想象不出来这房子到底是什么模样的。但是，如果对他们说:“我看见了一幢值十万法郎的房子。”他们就会高声嚷嚷:“那是多么漂亮啊!”这跟我想的一模一样，大人们太现实了。

四个字:太好看了!我已经不用再说关于这本书的内容了。

The tale of two cities is a historical story， one of Dickens’ long fictions.The background to the novel is the revolution of France .It portrayed a brutal and bloody story ， but it also contained love and friendship.

In the novel， Dickens sarcastically described a typical cruel nobleman—marquis of Evermonde . When he was young he and his brother stole a countrywoman by force and killed her family .What’s worse ， he used his power to imprison Dr Manette ， a kind and honest man who knew all the things they had done and wanted to disclose their crimes . In order to hide their crimes. Marquis of Evermonde and his brother threw Doctor Manette into prison for 18 years . During these 18 years，Doctor Manette lost his freedom and suffer a great in spirit .

I felt unthinkable that Marquis of Evermonde and his brother killed people just as easily as they killed chickens. They deprived other people’s freedom as they liked and they thought it was normal and unremarkable. They had never realized that they had done something wrong or something improper. Because their nature was cruel and evil， like demons. There is an old saying which means： People who commit too many crimes will kill themselves. After all， there is justice in the world. The demons can’t be rampant forever. Because the world will not forgive them. They will pay their lives for their crimes. Let’s see the consequence of the Marquis，’’He lay there like a stone with a knife pushed into his heart.” I think it was just what he ought to gain and it is a real exciting scene.

The Marquis’ death was just the beginning of people’s resistance to the nobleman. Gradually more and more people joined in the revolution. One after another nobleman were sentenced to death and their heads were cut down . However， some innocent people were implicated in the revolution. Charles Darney was one of them He was the nephew of Marquis of Evermonde. To the opposite of his uncle， Darney was a kind and independent young man.

Dickens spoke highly of kindness mercy and love in the novel too. This is the other thone of the novel when Doctor Manette was released from prison. It was his daughter Lucie who took care of him and helped him return to normal. During this time， Dr manette and Lucie knew Charles Darney and Sydeny Carton， the two young man fell in love with Lucie at the same time . At last， Lucie married Chares Darney .Dr Manette accepted Darney as his son-in-law although he knew that Darney was the nephew of the man who threw him into prison for18 years. This is the love between father and daughter. And Sydeny Carton ， the very great man ，loved Lucie deeply. He promised Lucie that he would do everything for her happiness. He did it truely ，he sacrificed himself instead of Darney who looked the same as him. This is love for lovers . This is the most wonderful thing in the world. It also reminds us that no matter how no matter when there is true love existing. At the end ， Lucie， Dr Manette and Darney arrived in England safely.

The tale of two cities is different from other historical fictions. Its characters and main plots are fictional under the real background of the revolution of France. The author made the experience of the fictional charactor Dr Manette as the main clue.The plots are complicated， and they are flexuous and dramatic. The structure is complete and rigorous.

Dickens had dear love and hate. He praised those who ought to be praised and attacked those who ought to be attacked. The motivation of the novel maybe just warn the English dominators. But I think we can learn something meaningful from the tale of two cities.

今天，我读了法国作家圣埃克苏佩里的《小王子》这本书，从中获益不少。

这是一部天才之作，作品是如此精美又如此质朴，如此深刻又如此平易近人，从内容到形式都几近于完美，宛如一块浑然天成的美玉。

这是一本哲理童话，大人小孩都可以看。文中有这样的一段话，“如果你对他们说：‘我看到一幢漂亮的粉红色的砖房，窗上摆着绣球花……’它们怎么也想不出有多漂亮。必须对他们说：‘我看见了一幢价值十五万法郎的房子。’他们才会大叫‘这是多么漂亮啊!’”是啊，因为我们眼中的大人就是这样的，他们爱好数字，爱好我们试卷上的“100”分这三个数字。他们不重视孩子的兴趣爱好，回到家里孩子除了要完成老师布置的作业，还要完成大人的作业。在他们的心目中100分是孩子唯一的选择。

文中还有许多精辟的句子，犹如天上的星星璀璨夺目，例如：“正因为你在你的玫瑰身上花费了时间，这才使她变得如此名贵。”“使沙漠变得这样美丽的，是它在什么地方隐藏着一眼井。”可是，这样的句子摘不胜摘，而要使它真正属于你，你就必须自己去摘取。

让我们把这本书当做一朵玫瑰，在她身上花费 你的时间，且把它当做一片沙漠，在它里面寻找你的井吧!

说实话，我有点害怕谈论这部经典的成人童话。因为它太神秘，太奇妙，似乎我还没有谈论它的资格。我只有感动，读完它的每次，都有想哭的冲动。它实在有让人无法察觉的力量在控制着我们心中伤感的那块区域。它的文字很简单，很朴实，但是它散发出的魅力，我认为却是没有一部书可以企及的。

小王子住在一颗很小的星球上，真的很小：只有两座火山，一朵花，一个小人。挪动椅子就能欣赏日出和日落，三棵小面包树就能霸占所有的空间。但是，小王子很爱他的星球，很爱他的玫瑰花。

但是，小王子还是要走的。临走前，他把星球上的一切都收拾得井井有条，给玫瑰花弄上了一个玻璃罩子。花儿很伤心，小王子也很伤心。

王子开始了他的旅行，遇见了自言自语的国王，爱慕虚荣的男人，醉醺醺的酒鬼，忙的不亦乐乎的商人，辛勤工作的灯夫，不把花儿放在眼中的地理学家……最后，他来到了地球。

小王子遇到了一只等待爱的狐狸，那狐狸说：“驯服我吧。”，小王子不明白什么是“驯服”，那狐狸说――建立关系。

小王子有点明白了。他想起了他的玫瑰花。小王子驯服了自己的玫瑰花，现在，他们已经不能分开了。是彼此的小王子，是彼此的玫瑰花了。

狐狸带着小王子看到了山下的5000朵玫瑰花，个个都是娇滴滴的，个个都芬芳迷人，小王子十分沮丧，因为原来他以为世界上的玫瑰花只有那一朵，自己星球上的那一朵。

……

小王子整整在地球上呆了一年。他要走了。他的毒蛇朋友会帮助他回到他的开始。

小王子倒下了。轻轻的倒下，像一棵树一样，一点声响也没有。

故事就这样结束了。和小王子的倒下一起结束了，悄无声息。小王子的寻找也结束了，寻找什么呢，或许他自己也说不上来。

第一次读它，似懂非懂，只是觉得它是一部很伤感的作品;第二次第三次，我有想哭的感觉，但是却找不到它的力量，能使我们伤心的力量所在;第四次第五次，有点感触，就是下面的东西了。

小王子和他的花冲突是他的命运的转折，因为这次转折，小王子开始了他的追求，追求自己也说不清楚的东西，而当自己发现自己真正的归宿应该还是那个自己的星球的时候，小王子，已经会不去了。他，轻轻地倒下。

小王子在自己的遍历世界的过程中了解到了原来自己从未知道的世界，但是，他却遗失了自己的最美。当他发现，已经来不及。每个人都是一样，当我们开始寻找，就已经失去，而人们却没有珍惜当下，没有珍惜寻找中的每一个现在。

作者描述的小王子追求找寻的过程，恰恰就是我们的每天的生活，就是我们的人生。我们都无法从小王子的定势中解脱，任何人都是这样，而把这样的悖论与这样一个伤感的角色结合，就会让我们更深刻地体会道作者传达出的情感。我们就是小王子。

或许这，就是让我们哭泣的原因吧。我是这样理解的。

我们不知道自己的命运，我们不断的追求。我们都在寻找“遗失的美好”，而忘记了，会成为美好的“现在”。

失去了才懂得珍惜，遗失了才知道美好。我们都想拥有自己美丽的世界，都想现在未来都是美好的。但是，怎么可能呢?我们不能留住时间，不能让现在成为不朽，但我们可以尽力珍惜现在，尽力珍惜即将随着自己的寻找而流逝的现在。

我看过一本最有哲理的童话就是《小王子》，我总觉得这是一部写给大人的童话，喜欢《小王子》这本书的人一定是善良的人。只有用心，才会读懂这一本书，并且爱上它。

《小王子》中的小主角小王子，来自一个很小的星球，在他的星球里，他只要稍稍移动一下就可以看一次日落，有一天他的心情不好他看了四十四次日落。他的星球里的火山石用来做饭的，他的星球只有一朵小玫瑰陪伴着他，但是那朵玫瑰太虚伪了，小王子受不了了，于是就拉着飞鸟离开了那个小星球，他前后访问了六七个星球，遇到了酒鬼，国王，点灯人，商人，地理学家，虚伪的人后，他来到了地球，遇见了飞行员和小狐狸，然后拥有了很多很多的故事。

可以说《小王子》中的任何一个东西，都象征着一类人，或者是蕴藏深意。每一句话，不仅唯美，而且都值得人深思。其中有几句令我印象特别深的句子，当然也是特别出名的句子。小王子在告别玫瑰的时候，玫瑰说她会留着几只毛毛虫，虽然毛毛虫会咬她的叶子，但是没有这样的痛苦后就不会遇到蝴蝶。小玫瑰的这番话是在说有付出有辛酸才会有回报。

小王子遇见商人的时候，商人仍在忙碌，连头都没有抬起过，商人告诉小王子说他在计算自己的财产，有了财产可以购买更多的星星，而星星多了有可以有更多的财产。那个商人以为自己做了最精明的打算，却没有发现自己深陷怪圈无法自拔，他没有时间去享受生活，这样的人生其实也是很失败的。

小王子到了地球后遇到了小狐狸，本来小狐狸和小王子没有关系，但是他们相互驯化了，相互驯化之后他们开始关心起对方，到真正告别的时候，他们都很难过，因为“驯服一个人是会流眼泪的。”这就像两个人的相识与相知，只有驯化后才会相互信任，即使驯化的过程有太多不想回首的过往。

《小王子》里面还有很多深刻的句子，但是“重要的东西只有用心才会发现”，只有真正静下心来才会真正明白这些句子背后深刻的哲理。《小王子》是我遇见过的最美的写给大人的童话。

其实在很小的时候就知道《小王子》的存在，可惜一直未曾度过这本书，直到工作之后才真正去认真的读了一边，才发现这本书并非仅仅是儿童读物，不同年纪的人读了之后感悟不同。

小王子的寻找历程，何尝不是人生成长胡过程，人生路程何其漫长艰辛，随着岁月的推移，经历的事情越多，就会越来越患得患失，看到小王子那样的期待，我甚至不敢继续读下去，它的力量真的很强大。小王子自己眼中的世界，其实并非都是如他想的那么美好，当他真正明白属于他的世界就是那个自己的星球，他满足了，这也引起了很多在外地生存的人的共鸣。其实知足就好，可是如果我们不出去闯一闯，怎么会知道什么遗失的美好。怎么会珍惜自己亲人对自己无私的付出。

小王子教会我们感恩，教会我们忍辱，教会我什么是爱，这不仅仅是一个童话，更是成年人的一次洗礼。

球，然后他遇到了狐狸，并且驯养了它，之后小王子又在沙漠中遇到了因飞机发生事故而落在沙漠里的飞行员，他与飞行员一起在沙漠里生存，最后小王子想回家了，就让毒蛇咬死自己，就这样小王子回到了自己的星球。

读了这本书，我知道了一个道理：人只能用心灵去观察，去感受。要知道，光靠肉眼是不可能看到本质的东西的，而且要懂得做人不能只想自己，要做个负责任的人。举个例子，世界上的中华龟很多，但只有我的是独一无二的，因为只有它是我驯养成过的，所以，我的是独一无二的。记住，凡是你培植过，驯养过的一切，你对它们是负有责任的。你为你的东西花费了时间，它才会变得重要。我喜欢《小王子》这本书，更喜欢小王子这个人，因为他是个善良、快乐的人。

The Scarlet Letter offers an extraordinary insight into the norms and behavior of the 17th century if American Puritan society.The basic conflicts and problems of its main characters,however,are familiar to readers in the present.The female protagonist,has borne a child out of wedlock and has been jailed for over three months and sentenced to wear a symbol of her adultery,a scarlet “A” on her dress at all times.It concerns about the moral,emotional and psychological effect of the sin on people in general.It’s not simply a love story or a story of sin.The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne uses the scarlet letters to symbolize the harshness of Puritan society,showing how they brand sinners for life.

The story happened in Boston about 200 years ago.It narrates love affairs between three persons.The punished woman.Hester Prynne and his husband.Who called himself Roger Chillingworth .He is an old misshapen man and a doctor.Hester does not love him at all.Another man is a young minister,Dimmesdale,who has a high position among ministers and is highly respected among his people in town.Hester and Dimmesdale love each other.But their love is forbidden in that time .It is sinful.Due to this,Hester is punished by society with a letter A on her chest,which considered an evil,a shame.

In this novel,the mainline seems to be around the letter A.Hester is brave enough to face the cruel reality.She is always with a mind of courage.She has been alone with her child for so long ,with litter communication.Shame!Hopelessness!Loneliness!Hester has to wear the letter A day after day,seven years as for punishment and ill fame.

When a woman has lived through a difficult experience,her character changes a great deal.If she be all tenderness,she will die.If she survive,the tenderness will leave her .Hester’s charitable deeds and quiet humility have earned her a reprieve from the scorn of the community.The letter on her chest represents her work on earth ,always helping others,without expecting any thanks.Never afterwards,does that scarlet letter leave her chest.The townspeople no longer view the letter as a punishment ,but rather as representing her great strength and bravery and thy say it means “Able”.

But Arthur Dimmesdale,his sin against Hester and Pearl is that he will not acknowledge them as his wife and daughter in the daylight.He keeps his dreadful secret from all those under his care in the church for seven years for fear that he will lose their love and will not be forgiven.He is too weak to admit his sins.He suffers from mysterious heart trouble,seemingly caused by psychological distress.What’s worse,he is an advisor to the townspeople about their sins.

After Mr.Dimmesdale’s death ,no one changes more in appearance than Roger Chilling worth.All his strength and energy has been used to harm his patient .This unhappy man has made his aim in life to add to the suffering of the young minister.When the evil old man no longer has such a purpose,the devil takes him back to the hell .It is a curious subject of observation,however,whether hatred or love are not of the same place.Each takes a great deal of emotion from one person.The two feelings seem basically the same,expect that one is smiled upon by God,while the other is worshipped by the devil.

今年暑假，我读了许许多多的书。有科幻的、写作的、教育的，尤其是童话故事《小王子》给我留下的印象最深，启发最多。它不但让我懂得做人要善良、勇敢，还让我从中找到了读书的乐趣。

我喜欢这本书是因为它立意深刻，感情真挚。书中讲述了小王子在梦中看见一个非常大、人非常多的星球，读后，我知道了它就是我们每天生活的地球。小王子发誓要找到地球，同时他在寻找地球的路上经过了许多星球，也认识了许许多多的人。如爱慕虚荣的人、数星星的商人、点灯人、地理学家等。小王子是个坚持和勇敢的人，他不怕艰险、不怕困难、一路上历经风雨，最后经过不懈努力，他终于找到了自己梦寐以求的地球。

小王子还在回来的路上驯养了一只狐狸，与他建立了深厚的感情，但他经过考虑还是将他放生，让他重新回到大森林的怀抱，自由自在地生活。

读完这本书，我明白了：在人类世界中，友谊是必不可少的，它可使我们在困难时能得到帮助，在孤独时能有人陪伴，失落时能有人鼓励……同时还能使我们忘却生活中的单调，让生活变得多姿多彩。

今天我看了一部充满哲理的童话电影——《小王子》，这部电影不仅仅是孩子看的，也是给成人的。

小王子开始了他漫长的旅途，他遇见了徒有虚名的国王，爱慕虚荣的人，自相矛盾的酒鬼，唯利是图的企业家，兢兢业业的点灯人，还有地理学家，然而这些大人们对小王子来说都是十分奇怪的，他们与生活、事业、金线、名利紧紧纠缠，或许成长带给我们的就是这些变化。即使我们现在还是个孩子，但是随着时间的流逝，终会成为与爱虚荣、酒鬼、企业家、点灯人、地理学家这样的人，因为我们就像是飞行员一样生活在这个被大人欺骗的环境里。

所有的人都会长大，也都会有变化，小王子小时候是多么不愿意长大，但小王子还是长大了，变得和那些他所讨厌的大人一样，小王子以前是忧伤的，他害怕自己变成大人。“也许世界上也有五千朵和你一模一样的花，但只有你是我独一无二的玫瑰。”这句话是小王子说的，一开始小王子是失落的，因为他以为他的玫瑰花是独一无二的，但事实也是如此，在他心中这是他唯一的、独一无二的玫瑰花，她与别的玫瑰花意义是不同的。每个人心灵深处都会有单纯的影子，世间有爱，自有真情在，即使我们长大，或许身后也会有那独一无二的玫瑰和狐狸在等，多想自己能够保持童真，不做去一个小时候讨厌的大人。

飞行员因为飞机故障，与小王子邂逅在撒哈拉沙漠。小王子来自B612星球，B612星球只有一间房子那么大，只要把椅子一转就可以看见落日，他拥有三座火山和一朵玫瑰花，他与玫瑰花彼此相爱，但玫瑰花有自己的骄傲，她把对小王子的爱藏在心头，装作不在意，他们之间的爱是令人捉摸不透的。尽管小王子很爱玫瑰花，但是小王子还是离开了这个星球，去别的星球探索了。

这是老飞行员告诉小女孩的，小女孩也很向往小王子的生活，在老飞行员出事时，小女孩去找小王子了……但在找到小王子之后，小女孩发现小王子不在有童真了，他与那些大人一样了，大人想把小女孩抓去调教，但关键时刻小王子救了小女孩，恢复了他所有的童真。

小王子在我的记忆中永远是那个童真的小孩子。

Its a short story by O.Henry that has moved me for a long time.Maybe most of you are familar with its name,that is,The Gift of the Magi.I have read it many times but every time I like to read it slowly and deliberately.I think "The Gift of the Magi"

is meant to be savored.

Maybe there is no necessity for me to repeat the main idea of the story.But Im

so fascinated with the short story that I want to retell it yo you,and to myself.

It happened to a very poor but blissful young couple named Jim and Della in the end of 18th century in England.Because of the maladies of that society and the effect of economic crisis,they worked hard but earned little.Life is very hard for them.Despite of this,their love to each other and the enthusiasm for life didnt changed at all.When Chrismas day was approuching ,Della used the money she got from selling her beautiful hair which she treasured very much to give Jim a fob for his grandfathers pocket watch.But Jim had already sold that watch to buy Della tortoiseshell combs to wear in her long hair,not knowing shed cut it off.

It appears that the gifts they gave each other have been useless.But I think they gave each other the best of what they had to make the other happy.Isnt that true love?We can image,in such rough conditions,as it said in the story,"Life is made up of sobs,sniffles,and smiles,with sniffles predominating."Itst absolute reasonable for them to be beaten by the misery.But the fact is that no matter how tough life had been,they wouldt lose heart.With strong faith and their love ,they did their best to make the other pleased."Whennever Mr. James came home and reached his flat ,above he was called Jimand greatly hugged by Mrs. James."Maybe this account is the best description of their love and struggle against hard life.It was said that the povertier life is ,the firmer and truer love is."Actually,theyd given the very best they had out of love.

"They are too foolish children in a flat,who most unwisely sacrificed for each other the greatest treasures of their house.But in a last word,to the wise of these days,let it be said that of all who give gifts these two were the wisest."Said the writer in the last paragraph.Yes,they are wisest.They are the magi.Are there any reasons for us not to show respect for the young couple?

I remind my grandparents.They have spent fifty years together.No romantic words,no stirring behaviours,just comman even pedestrian life.But I can say love exists in every detail of their life.They have gone through war period,three years natural disasters,cultural revolution and so on.But no matter what happens,they are always considering for the other.Even now both of them have become old step by step,they still cared about each other.My grandparents,in my opinion,is a pair of lovers forever.

Love has nothing to do with money,possession or status.Its consideration,tolerance and respect.Its giving ones best to the other even it means sacrifice.Its affection which connects two persons hearts,and its reinforced by adversities.

Struggle against adversities.Nothing did they have,at least they owened love.Never give up as long as love exists.From"The Gift of the Magi",from Jim and Della and from my grandparents,I have learned a lot about love,life and hope.

最近读了法国著名作家小仲马的代表作：《茶花女》，连读两遍，意悠未尽。我被书中男女主人公的爱情故事而感动，读到伤心之处，未免掉泪。

Recently read on behalf of the famous French writer Alexandre Dumass work: "La Traviata", read two times, will you not. I was touched by the book of love stories, read the sad place, it tears.

现代人都想得到真挚的爱情，都想得到异性的真爱，也时刻在讨论什么是爱?是否有真正的爱情?《茶花女》给了我们一个正确的答案：男女之间的情爱，是一种奉献、是一种给予、是一种忠诚，是牺牲、是无私，不是索取，更不是骗取;真心实意的为对方着想，为对方去做事任可牺牲自己的一切，能使对方幸福做为自己最大的快乐和满足。

The modern people want to get true love, want to get specific moments in the discussion of love, but also what is love? If there is true love? "La Traviata" gives us a correct answer: between men and women in love, is a kind of dedication, is a given, is a kind of loyalty, sacrifice, selfless, not to take, but not to cheat; have a genuine and sincere desire for the sake of each other, each other to do any sacrifice everything, can to make each other happy as his greatest pleasure and satisfaction.

我想每个人在通读小说，在为男女主人公悲欢离合而高兴、而担心、而落泪的同时，检讨一下自己在情感方面的得与失，才能更加珍惜自己的爱情，善待亲情和友情。

I think everyone to read novels, and happy, in grief at separation and joy in Union for the hero and heroine and worry, and tears at the same time, to review their own in the emotional aspects of the gain and loss, to cherish their love, treat affection and friendship.
