上帝让所罗门从金钱、权力、智慧中选择一样，所罗门毫不犹豫地选择了智慧。他认为，金钱不是万能的，金钱不能买来智慧，但是智慧却可以产生金钱。于是，他凭着智慧来生产、经商，使自己家的财产富可敌国。同时他又乐善好施，急公好义，深得民心。当老国王因病去世时，国内的百姓都推举所罗门做希伯来人的国王。他凭着智慧使人民安居乐业，使得他在位的时期成了希伯来历史上最辉煌的时期。

我就上评委老师那儿抽签定lets talk，怕啥来啥，我抽到了my weekend。我知道我背的四个短文这个最不熟，所以我很急，可时间不容我思考，一会儿就该我上场了，怎么办呢?

虽然心提到了嗓子眼，但不容多想，我还是硬着头皮上了场，我先说我的“自我介绍"，谢天谢地，还算顺利，然后我再背Let’s talk――my weekend，一开始背的时候，我力求很有感情。到了该表演的时候了，我忘词了，怎么办?急中生智，干脆我自己编一个吧，于是我用了我爸给我修改的开头，然后我就按自己周末干什么的顺序编造，心中想着汉语，嘴上说着英语，感谢这两天的充分努力，仿照其他准备的短文移花接木、东拼西凑，也还算顺利，我没看稿子，一气呵成，当我讲完后，赢得了观众的掌声，老师的好评。

通过参加英语口语大赛，我又得到了许多宝贵的经验:平时准备是死的，现场发挥是活的，要根据实际情况活学活用。

暑假里，我和爸爸.妈妈去北京旅游。
