大年二十九，爸爸妈妈上完一年中的最后一天班，我们一家就连夜赶到了位于皖北宿州市的姥姥家。因为在这里有一项很重要的一个习俗，春节前夕，人们都会准备好贡品祭祀已故的亲人，表示对他们的怀念，并希望他们保佑自己一家人在新的一年一帆风顺。

贴春联自然是必不可少的一项任务，大家要在大家三十的早上，在门两旁贴上寓意吉祥的春联，会给节日带来喜庆之气。春联的一个源头是桃符。最初人们以桃木刻人形挂在门旁以避邪，后来门神像画于桃木上，再简化为在桃木板上题写门神名字，后来改写在纸上。桃木的颜色是红的，红色有吉祥，避邪的意思，因此春联大都用红纸书写。但是在皖北，如果在这一年中家中有人去世，就不能贴大红纸写的春联了，只能在门芯处贴上A4大小的白纸，或者什么也不贴。第二年可以贴黄色的春联，第三年是紫色的纸联，第四年丧服满才恢复用红纸。

在贴春联的同时，北方人还注重贴门神，听姥姥说，最初的门神是刻桃木为人形，挂在人的旁边，后来是画成门神人像张贴于门。传说中有神荼、郁垒兄弟二人专门管鬼，有他们守住门户，大小恶鬼不敢入门为害。唐代以后，又有画猛将秦琼、尉迟敬德二人像为门神的，还有画关羽、张飞像为门神的。门神像左右户各一张，现在常把一对门神画成一文一武。

采购年货是我最喜欢的一点，面对着琳琅满目的商品，我和表弟自然是飞奔到最爱的零食区，美味的巧克力，香甜的饼干，诱人的薯片……一点点地搬运到购物车上。大人们也买好了各种蔬菜，鸡鸭鱼肉和红枣糕。足以让我们大饱口福。

皖北的春节要一直过到正月十五元宵节才算结束，在这里，正月十五还有一个独特的习俗—蒸面灯。十五这天，早早的，妈妈们便用豆面揉好面焖在锅中，到了下午，面发起后，开始捏一个个小面灯。手巧的人家还会捏出龙灯灯、鸡灯灯、兔子灯等生肖灯。

把捏好的面灯放进锅里蒸，蒸完后，有的面灯窝窝里有蒸馏水，有的很多，有的少，还有的却干干净净，滴水不见？据说，这是个很灵验的预言呢，存水的那个月份灯会被认为代表着来年那个月份里一定雨水充沛，水多的可能会有涝情，水少的当然就代表干旱了。

把面灯里放上香油，用棉线做出捻子，点亮的面灯好漂亮！我们会端着灯在屋子里四处照照，照到的地方毒虫、臭虫什么的就都不敢出来了。大人们还会用灯在我们小孩子的全身上下照上一照，说是一年内保管百病全无，吉祥如意。面灯点着可不能吹灭哟，要让它自己燃尽，因为红红的灯火代表着我们的生活会越来越旺，越来越红火。

而我和姐姐呢，那然就准备过年那天晚上玩的鞭炮了。姨爹带我和姐姐一起去批发市场买鞭炮，哇!琳琅满目的鞭炮，看起来都很好玩!我挑了几个看似很好玩的，就回家帮姨妈和妈妈“干活”了。

在过年的前一个晚上，我“浏览”一下我买的鞭炮，看看买的都好不好玩，我将买的鞭炮全部都放了一个，剩下的就过年时玩，哇!我竟然买爆竹?我非常惊奇。还看了看装鞭炮的袋子，原来我还买了一些小烟花。

那天晚上吃完饭，我们就开始把明天中午的饭菜理出来了，先放在冰箱，明天下锅炒一下就行了。

那天晚上我没睡着觉，因为只要到了晚上12点鞭炮声就会“啪啪啪啪”地响起来，那时，我就睡不着觉了，一心就会想着下楼去放鞭炮了。
