我的心爱之物是家里养的小仓鼠，我们家的那只小仓鼠可爱极了，只要你轻轻的敲敲盖子就看见他粉嫩的小耳朵，毛绒绒的身子倏地一下窜过来，用黑溜溜的大眼睛好奇地盯着你，好像在说：“小主人，你叫我干什么?有什么好吃的给我吗?”

我从小就很喜欢小动物，一直想养一只小动物当宠物。想养一只小猫，想养一个小狗，想养一只小兔子，爸妈都说不行，小动物需要很大的活动地方我们家太小了养不好它们的。经过我久久的哀求，和妈妈一起去网上查找，总算同意给我买一只小仓鼠做我的小伙伴。

这只仓鼠是一只三线，模样并不十分漂亮，但它有着最大的优势——好养活。我收到快递的时候，打开箱子一看，小仓鼠仰着肚子四脚朝天躺在一个角落中一动不动，我们还以为它死了呢，我伤心的哭起来。妈妈仔细看了看安慰我说：“小优，别哭，仓鼠没事，它只是在睡觉而已。”我破涕为笑地说：“妈妈，我要像你照顾我一起好好照顾它，它要怎么养?”“我也不知道，我们一起上网看看吧!”我和妈妈一起上网，啊!原来养仓鼠原来有这么多的小窍门，原来它不喝生水，要喝凉开水，要有专门的跑笼让它跑步，要有专门的磨牙食物，仓鼠特别爱干净，天天洗澡，但它不能用水洗澡，要用专业的浴沙。”我每天照顾它，跟我它熟了后，它会在我的手心用他粉嫩的小爪子抱着食物轻啃着;它会迷迷糊糊的睡去，它会用粉红色的舌头在我的手指头舔来舔去。

国庆节早上我和爸爸妈妈一起看国庆节大阅兵。

The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually

in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. As early as the Western Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), it had become a festival with great significance.

This days important activity is watching lanterns. Throughout the Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), Buddhism flourished in China. One emperor heard that

Buddhist monks would watch sarira, or remains from the cremation of Buddhas

body, and light lanterns to worship Buddha on the 15th day of the 1st lunar

month, so he ordered to light lanterns in the imperial palace and temples to

show respect to Buddha on this day. Later, the Buddhist rite developed into a

grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the Central

Plains to the whole of China.

Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the

country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets,

attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns

to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

My name is Simon. Im 24 years old now. Im from Changsha University. I

major in English, because I have the gift for language study.

In my opinion, English is well-known all around the world. If I can speak

excellent English, I could travel to everywhere in the world without language

barriers. Now I can speak English like an American. Most of my classmates always

envy my oral English.

I like traveling very much. Through traveling, I can widen my perspective

and know more about our world. Now I have been to so many cities, such as

Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and Zhongshan. These cities are nice, clean and modern.

I think Im easy-going and hard-working. When Im at work, I always try my

best to do everything well. I never let others do anything that I can do, and I

never put off todays work to tomorrow. When you have difficulties, I’m eager to

有许许多多的好书你可能看过，但是《狼图腾小狼小狼》，我十分爱这本书，它让我懂得了狼的习性。

这本书作者主要讲的是为了让人们懂得狼的习性，冒着生命危险钻狼洞，捉小狼。

作者费了九牛二虎之力，终于在狼洞拿了六只小狼，把五只小狼放腾格，作者自己只剩一只。小狼的脚虽然没有站稳，眼睛也没有张开，但是小狼的鼻子却能闻到小狼哥哥妹妹的尸体。

小狼渐渐长大了，小狼的狼习惯也越来越明显了。

最后小狼也被作者放入了腾格。我推荐这本书是因为书中的语言优美，有很多好词佳句，更重要的是你读完一遍就会明白一个道理。如果，你读不出来，文后还有解释。

Dear Tom,

Im just writing to let you know that were all well, and I hope you are, too. Unfortunately, Ive got some rather bad news for you: Im afraid I made a bit of a mess of Johns car. Anyway, heres what happened.

We were on our way to Carols after a long party, and I suppose it must have been about eleven o’clock. Well, the last few miles back home were really dark and deserted. I now realize I was probably going a bit too fast for a country lane because, although the road was fairly straight, I drove up onto the curb and went into a tree.

Of course, John was absolutely furious and started shouting at me and cursing. After we d argued for a few moments, we decided to look at the damage, and he calmed down a bit. Well, we found we could move the car, but the wing was caught on the wheel, so we couldnt drive it. I tried to pull the wing clear, but I didnt succeed.

Anyway, John went off to phone for a breakdown lorry, but while he was away, I had another go at the wing and this time succeeded in pulling it right off. I threw it onto the back seat, and by that time John got back and we were ready to go?so we didnt need the breakdown lorry at all. John has more or less forgiven me now, but he was very angry with me for a few days. I suppose I was a bit careless.

Well, thats all for now. Next time I write I hope Ill have better news for you.

我再也控制不住自己的情绪，只觉得苦涩的胆汁直往嘴里涌，胳膊一痛，眼泪啪嗒啪嗒往下流。我晚点洗又没有什么错，你不也有缺点吗，抽烟，脾气大不正是吗?

你也知道吸烟有害，戒烟有益，可是你每天嘴里有喃着戒烟，可是第二天你的口袋里不还是装着一包烟吗?有时候，妈妈把你的烟都烧了，可你还是会去买，你吸烟不仅害了自己，烟还会飘在家里，不就相当于害了我们全家吗?你为何不学学舅舅不吸烟呢?妈妈每次说你，你嘴里总是会说戒烟，但你的行为还不是不屑一顾，生气容易伤身体，你应该也是知道的吧?但是你每次对我发脾气，差不多都要打我，你为什么要打自己的儿子呢?

On national day, I, mother, Pan Luyao, and Sun Yichao to play in Jinhua. We

went to dream Valley, also went to the underground river, to a lot of places,

there can be a lot of fun, until October 5th, we go home to be reluctant to

part, that night at home have 10 points. I bought a lot of gifts, Pan Luyao, Sun

Yichao, father, brother and mother. October 1st is mothers birthday, I wish the

Failure is so common in our life. No one can avoid it. When we fail in

doing something, we often feel so depressed that we have no interest in other

虽然尊严不是一种美德，却是许多美德之母。这是柯林斯托姆曾说过的话。可见尊严之重要。一个人活着尊严是必不可少的，若是尊严被践踏还不知反抗，那便与行尸走肉没多大区别。尊严是人生的天平，它赋予了人生真实的意义。那么作为一个人就要有尊严的活着。

The environment has been polluted badly today and the nature punishes the

human being by all kinds of disasters, such as the heavy haze in Beijing, which

damages people’s health. World Environment Day is on June 5th. It pays attention

to call for the public to make an effort to bring the world a clean

environment.

Look at the pollution around us, which exists everywhere. The cars release

the gas which pollutes the air and the rubbish can be found in every corner of

the street. All of these daily incidents hurts the world we live. Especially the

factories, they release the heavy smoke and make the sky becomes dark. What’s

more, the wasted water flows to the clean river.

Though the government has made some action to punish the businessmen for

releasing the polluted sources, they still dare to take the risk of earning the

biggest profit. If we hurt the environment, it will hurt ourselves, because we

live together. The polluted environment threatens our health. If we want to live

the comfortable life, then the only way is to be nice to the environment.

在国庆长假中一个阳光明媚的日子里，我和妈妈乘车离开北仑，前往九峰山。一路上我哼着歌，兴奋极了：“今天天气真晴朗……”每唱完一首歌我就问一次妈妈什么时候才能到。半个小时后，我们终于到达了目的地一一九峰山。

九峰山真像一位温柔贤淑的女神，广施恩泽，哺育山间万物，给了它们无限的关爱。

清新的山风吹拂着绿叶，带来了阵阵醇香，扑在我们的脸上，让人清爽而惬意，这风，是女神纯净的气息。

山中潺潺的泉水，汇聚成小溪，流向远方，那是女神甘甜的乳汁。

听说九峰山有两件宝贝，一件是瀑布，另一件则是石头。我们有幸见识了它们的奇妙。

这儿的龙潭飞瀑飘逸脱俗、玲珑秀美，是天上织女的银线不慎掉落人间形成的吧?否则，怎么会如此美丽恬静?瀑布虽没有庐山瀑布“飞流直下三千尺，疑是银河落九天”那样壮观，但也别有风味。它小巧玲珑，40多米长的水帘像一条白练从山崖上垂下来，瀑水时不时地溅起白色小水花，在阳光的照耀下波光粼粼，闪亮夺目。

九峰山上，一块块的大石头千姿百态：有的如闭目合掌的菩萨，有的像托腮沉思的巨人，还有笑容可掬的脸、怒目而视的脸……特别有趣的是，山上有一处石头，像一个人在晒靴子：那细长的石条是人健壮的胳膊;一个圆圆的像鸡蛋一样的石头正好镶在“胳膊”的右上方，这就是人的脑袋;“脑袋”上的两个小洞像人的眼睛;在人的“胳膊”旁有一块很像靴子的大石头。因此跟我们同行的小妹妹给它取了个好听的名字叫“仙人晒靴”。

九峰山之行，真令我开心、难忘。

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I

listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside

and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the

vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year

and play table tennis tegether. And I watched the spring festival party of the

CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people

of china doing at that time.

Thats all, all my dull, coldly and snowy winter vacation.

As a middle school student, I dont have much freeTime, but I still have a

lot of things to do. I like listening to music and reading, so in my free time,

I always listening to music and search the Internet for about half-hour. Its a

good way to relax myself. I always do some reading before go to bed. Besides, I

always go to swimming after school. Exercises help me to keep healthy and do

good to my study. As the same as other students, I often watch TV in the

evening, but I have to finish my homework first. At the weekends, I will help my

mother with the housework, such as clean the house, do some washing. And, its a

time to visit my friends. We are always happy together.

有一个晚上，风“嗖嗖”地刮着，听声音就知道外面很冷，在屋内，有我和爸爸的声音交织着，“爸爸，你就让我下去吧。”沉默了一会儿，一个严厉地声音传来：“不行，外面冷，下去冻感冒了，想下去，就多穿一件衣服”。那是我的父亲正要阻止我下楼玩，我又劝了劝他让我下去，不知说了几次，爸爸终于答应了，不过他说：“孩子，要是冷，就上来”。“嗯，我知道了”。我冲出楼，拉着我的好朋友玩去了，刚到楼下，我不禁感到冷了，不过为了让爸爸认输，我忍着，没出声，不知玩了多久，我冻得全身已麻木了，突然看见一个熟悉的身影向我跑来，啊，是爸爸，他跑过，递给一个大袄，喘着气说：“我怕你冷，给……给你拿、拿了一件袄”。我的眼睛瞬间湿润了，我穿上袄，望着爸爸离去的身影直想哭，因为我看到爸爸穿着单薄的衣服给我送袄，虽然感到身上热，但是比不上心里的热。

父爱是伟大的，我应该珍惜我所拥有的父爱啊!

理想是花，播下种子，需要我们用汗水去浇灌，理想是树，种下小苗，需要我们用耐心去呵护，总有一天，花儿会开放，树会成长。

理想是生命的源泉;理想是前进的动力;理想是春夏交替的旺季。有了理想，人生就有目标;有了奋斗目标，人生就有价值。为之，你会努力拼搏，坚持到底。然而，人生如果没有梦想，就注定会普普通通，忙碌终身，我们要敢于去梦想，不要怀疑自己的能力，每个人都身上都蕴含着无穷无尽的能力，只是它们熟睡着，等待梦想去唤醒它们。世界上没有做不到的事情，只有想不到的事情。想别人不敢想的事情，做别人不敢做的，总有一天，美丽的梦想会变成现实。

世界闻名的法国科幻小说作家——凡尔纳。为了发表他第一部作品，曾经遭受过多么大的挫折!1863年冬天当凡尔纳收到第十五次退稿时，愤怒不堪，准备把这些稿子付之一炬，妻子满怀安慰，鼓励他再试一次。这次，他没有落空，并与此出版社签下20年合同。

如果没有他妻子的劝导，没有在努力一次的勇气，我们也许根本无法读到凡尔纳笔下那些脍炙人口的科幻故事，人类就会失去一笔极其珍贵的精神财富。

人生的路上我们会有一个又一个的目标，在实现理想的道路上我们会遇到各种各样的挫折。如果要想把梦想变成现实，我们就应该以恒心为友，以耐力为兄，以希望为守护者，要坚定自己的信念，不到最后一刻绝不放弃，始终坚信成功就在下一个十字路口。

每个人都有过非常美丽而伟大的理想。千万不要因为一时得不到他人的理解与支持而轻易地放弃，没有人能预知我们的未来，明天是靠我们自己去创造的。牢牢抓住我们的梦想，朝着它奋斗，总有一天幸运会降临到我们的身边。

让我们迎着朝阳，放手去追逐，在蔚蓝的天空下，创造出一片属于自己的天地吧!

In a few days is the National Day, our school will be on holiday then.

The students know the origin of the National Day? Now I introduce you to the students.

So this day is called "National Day".

I also saw on TV the peoples liberation army uncle for the motherland people can live a happy happy life, is not afraid of Japan on the battlefield, with their life for our happy and beautiful life today.

And outside people have a holiday back to work and study, and the family reunion together, about this season.

This is my idea of a "National Day", I hope everyone can enjoy a nice holiday.

As everyone knows, stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is

no way to avoid it. As the pace of modern life continues to increase, we are

always feeling on the go from morning till night. And it is hard to slow down.

Therefore, stress goes hand in hand with the life in a competitive society.

Different people, however, think of stress quite differently. Some believe

that stress is not the bad thing it is often supposed to be. They are of the

opinion that a certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give

purpose to life. Others argue that stress contributes to one’s mental decline

and hence endangers his health. According to them, relaxation, the opposite of

stress, is essential for a healthy mind and body.

Personally, I’m in favor of the former view. I think it is impossible to

avoid stress when one is entirely devoted to the career he pursues. In my

opinion, it is only when the stress gets out of control that it can lead to poor

performance and ill health.
