记忆犹如一条条小船，随着年龄的长大，虽然现在有许多小船只已经驶离了我记忆的港湾，但有一条小船却永远停泊在了我记忆的深处，小船上载着令我难忘的一个人——我以前的班主任陈老师。

There is an old Chinese saying: Top students come from strict teachers.

Perhaps affected by this saying for a long time, we believe it right. However,

as time flies, lots of things have changed. Therefore, I am eager to discuss

what relation is the best between teachers and students.A teacher can treat a

student in two ways .One is strict, and the other is friendly. Most teachers

prefer the first way.To start with, we certainly have to admit that strictness

is very effective, especially to the naughty pupils.

As pupils we aren’t able to control ourselves well or fix our attention on

one thing for a long time. We do most things because they are interesting or we

feel like doing. We are always looking out of the window in class. Sometimes, we

get to play games and forget our homework. On this occasion, strictness is a

must. It not only forces us to do the right thing, but also helps us develop a

good learning habit, which is of great importance during our whole life .In

other words, it is the first step to success.Still, everything has two sides.

Its weak points are very obvious. You see, there’re top students in a class,

where average students make up the majority. Then teachers’ orders or

suggestions are for the majority, not for top students. However, top students

always have their own study plans and prefer special homework, so orders usually

won’t take great effect on them.

Maybe you have thought out that teachers can give orders only to the

majority and set some freedom to top students. However, it’s impossible .For a

whole class, teachers couldn’t give order to part of the class, for the majority

would question why they needn’t do such work, but we need? It would be probable

that they think teachers treat them not equally, and will not obey teachers’

orders any more. This is a difficulty for teachers.It also has another

disadvantage——the communication problem .Since teachers are strict, we never

tell teachers our personal affairs or secrets. Mostly we just tell them to our

friends, but as students too, they couldn’t help to solve our problem, such as

puppy love, communication problems or study problems .Not being solved

completely, they always disturb us, influencing our daily life and study. I’m

sure that you think that making friends with teachers can solve the problem, and

you are eager to do so as well. But if we do so, new problems will come out .You

see, an adult couldnt control himself well at times, let alone us students.

However if teachers are our friends, I doubt whether their orders will take

effect any more .You see, have we ever treated our friends’ orders as orders? We

think they’re only jokes. This is another difficulty for teachers.Additionally,

our parents have the same problem. Yes, we need to be friends, but not complete

friends. We need to keep a certain distance, making us communicate well and

willing to take your orders. I remember a story.One day, a lady had her rest

I always care so much about the food I eat, because my stomach is a little

week, so I can’t eat the junk food all the time. The healthy food makes me keep

Han Mei is my best friend. We know each other since we were born. Because we are twins. She is my elder sisiter. Like most twin sisters, we look almost the same. The most easy way to to distinguish us is that she has a scar on her arm. It is my fault. When we are six years old, we played beside the stair, and then I pushed her down the stair accidently. She got hurt but not blame me at all. That is the history of her scar. Since then our parents always recognize us with that mark. Han Mei is better than me in study. Thanksgiving Day falls on the fourth Thursday of November every year. It is

the most truly American of the national Holidays in the United States. It is a

3.继续注重英语阅读教学。阅读理解在我们的各种测试中所占分值越来越大，而且选材也更趋广泛化。因此课堂教学中要侧重“篇章”，强调“含义”，将语篇教学贯穿于课文教学和阅读理解教学中，利用语篇教学扩大学生词汇量，增强语感，丰富文化知识，提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力。

4.注重兴趣培养，慎防两极分化。从试卷分析中可以看出，每个学校都不同程度地出现了令人担忧的“两极分化”现象。初学阶段一定要注意激发培养学生的学习兴趣，关注学生的情感，营造宽松，民主、和谐的教学氛围，保护每个学生的自尊心和学习英语的积极性。只有这样，掉队的学生才会减少，也才可能大面积提高人平。

5.注重课堂“时效性 ”，在优化课堂组织教学、合理设计教学活动，加大训练强度和密度的基础上，注重因材施教、分层教学。既要使大多数学生掌握好基础的知识与技能，同时注重知识的扩展和规律性知识的总结与归纳，让好学生也能获得充分的发展。

6.加强听力训练，营造语言环境。课堂上一定要加强对学生的听力训练，坚持用英语组织教学，尽可能利用多种教学资源让学生接触地道的语音、语调，多听英、美人士的录音材料。

When I was younger , I went through an thing which deeply influence me.

One day,I went to school as Usually. All of a sudden,I heard a voice

crying.I knew there were something wrong . So I walked towards the direction of

the voice .Then I found a child and his mother wandered off.My heart full of

compassion . So I decided to help him find his mother , and I took him to the

police station nearby . Then I went to school in a hurry , but when I arrived,I

found I’m still late . After my teacher’s preaching , I went back to the

classroom .I was so upset.

现在我正好放假在家里，就先向家里人“开刀”吧!外婆每天做饭不太讲究节约，我说：“外婆，现在提倡”低碳生活“，如果你焖米饭时，把大米浸泡20分钟后再煮，可缩短时间;做饭时要用中火;烧东西时要擦干锅，不易煮烂煮烂的食品要用高压锅，都有助于节省燃气。还有，洗菜淘米的水可以用来浇花，洗衣服的水可以用来拖地或者冲厕所。”外婆吃惊的说：“是吗?!外婆老了不知道，就照你说的办吧!”

爸爸睡觉前总要玩会儿电脑，我就趁机说：爸爸，现在提倡“低碳生活”，玩电脑不仅浪费电，对眼睛也不好，你知道吗，有好多国家就是因为有许多肆无忌惮浪费电的人，所以他们经常断电，白天还好，晚上就得打着灯了!爸爸你看他们多可怜啊，你还是早早的睡觉吧!爸爸高兴地说：“我女儿长大了，比我知道的还多，说的有道理，我试试看，也加入你的”低碳一族“。我心里喜滋滋的。

到了晚上，外公打开了电视，声音调的十分大。我说：“外公，现在人们都在不断提高低碳意识，声音小，亮度低都可以节电，还有你的手机，晚上不用时就关机，可以减少充电的次数。”外公满脸笑容的说：“你不愧是我的好外孙女，从小就知道节约，这些我还没想到呢，我一定照办。”我高兴地一蹦三尺高，外公也是“低碳一族”了。

我不能光要求别人低碳，自己也要做到，我要马上行动起来。做到多喝白开水，少喝饮料;少用纸巾擦手;每周选一天不吃肉;少买多余的衣服以及生活学习用品;本子反正面都用，不用修正液、修正带。

希望大家都养成低碳习惯，提高低碳意识，争当低碳标兵。

panda―the national treasure

panda is one of the scarcest animals. people in the world like it very much. there used to be many pandas in china long ago.

as the balance of nature was destroyed and the weather was getting warmer and warmer, pandas became less. but at present, the number of pandas is increasing year by year. there are now so many pandas that some are being sent to other countries so that people there can enjoy them.

nowadays, the biggest nature park for panda in china is in sichuan. there is a research centre for nature and wild life there. scientists hope that one day they will have enough pandas to be set free and let them live in the wild again.

亡羊补牢

【典故】

这故事出自“战国策”。战国时代，楚国有一个大臣，名叫庄辛，有一天对楚襄王说： “你在宫里面的时候，左边是州侯，右边是夏侯;出去的时候，鄢陵君和寿跟君又总是随看你。你和这四个人专门讲究奢侈淫乐，不管国家大事，郢(楚都，在今湖北省江陵县北)一定要危险啦!”

襄王听了，很不高兴，生气骂道：“你老糊涂了吗?故意说这些险恶的话惑乱人心吗?”

庄辛不慌不忙的回答说：“我实在感觉事情一定要到这个地步的，不敢故意说楚国有什么不幸。 如果你一直宠信这个人，楚国一定要灭亡的。你既然不信我的话，请允许我到赵国躲一躲，看事情究竟会怎样。” 庄辛到赵国才住了五个月，秦国果然派兵侵楚，襄王被迫流亡到阳城(今河南息县西北)。这才觉得庄辛的话不错，赶紧派人把庄辛找回来，问他有什么办法;庄辛很诚恳地说：“我听说过，看见兔子牙想起猎犬，这还不晚;羊跑掉了才补羊圈，也还不迟。……”

这是一则很有意义的故事，只知道享乐，不知道如何做事，其结果必然是遭到悲惨的失败无疑。

“亡羊补牢”这句成语，便是根据上面约两句话而来的，表达处理事情发生错误以后，如果赶紧去挽救，还不为迟的意思。例如一个事业家，因估计事情的发展犯了错误，轻举冒进，陷入失败的境地。但他并不气馁，耐心地将事情再想了一遍，从这次的错误中吸取教训，认为“亡羊补牢”，从头做起，还不算晚呢!
