一名平易近人的牙医姐姐耐心并细心地给我们讲了关于如何保护牙齿，我了解到了：人的乳牙一共有二十颗，加上恒牙一共有二十八颗牙齿。我还知道了虫牙的形成主因还是甜食和碳酸饮料。原来牙刷也不能一年换一次，必须要三个月换一次，这样才能保证口腔的健康，减少疾病。我还了解到：牙膏要选择含氟的，这样它才能更好地保护我们的牙龈和牙齿；牙刷要选择刷头窄又短，刷柄扁又直的；牙刷每次用完后都会湿漉漉的，所以要使牙刷保持干燥。还有刷牙分为竖刷和里外刷……，这些知识都是我以前所不了解的，不清楚的。

姐姐还告诉我们，要想保护好牙齿，必须要少吃糖，少吃甜食，还要少喝碳酸饮料，这样牙齿才不会变形。

现在的工厂，只为了提高自己的效率，只为了让自己获益更大，几把工业废水排到了小河中，把毒气当普通烟雾一样，从烟囱排了出去，要知道，这些毒气不被人吸进去，就会污染大面积的空气，被人吸进去则会严重影响人的肺功能，使人呼吸困难。可以说是两者都有害。

森林，地球的肺，为人类带来的好处不计其数：防洪、放沙暴、过滤空气等等等等，数不胜数。可现在呢?森林正在以每分钟38公顷的速度大面积减少，没有了森林，我们的地球就好象少了一根支柱，地球就好象开始摇摇欲坠起来。

面对这样的地球，我们能怎么做?我们应该怎么做?

首先应该从根本上做起，从我们力所能及的事情做起：节约用水，争取少污染水，拒绝食用野生动物……如果说全国每个人在每次用水后都关上水龙头，那么，一天下来，我们可以省19个水缸的水。如果我们多用肥皂，少用洗洁精，有许许多多的水避免受到污染。我曾见过这样一条宣传标语：利用可再生资源—别等到能源耗竭的那一天!的确，人类目前使用的能源90%是石油、天然气和煤。这些燃料的形成过程需要亿万年，是不可再生的资源。太阳能、风能、潮汐能、地热能则是可再生的，被称为可再生能源。人们把那些不污染环境的能源称为“清洁能源”。使用清洁能源就能避免污染了。像今年国家很提倡的“支持绿色照明——人人都用节能灯”就是一个很好的例子：“中国绿色照明工程”是我国节能重点之一。按照该工程实施计划，“九五”期间全国将推广节能高效照明灯具。到2000年争取节约照明用电220亿千瓦时，并节省相应的电厂燃煤，减少二氧化硫、氮氧化物、粉尘、灰渣及二氧化碳的排放。

诸如此类，像这样的事我们还能做很多，就让我们一起为环保努力吧!

我们共同拥有一个美丽的家园，它就是地球。但这个家园经过多少万年的风雨侵蚀，特别是人类的肆意破坏，如今，它已是满目疮痍，伤痕累累。

Man and His Environment

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. 我也在深深的思考着。记得那是一个风和日丽的星期天，我和爸爸去户外爬山。经过两个小时的努力，我们终于爬到了山顶，正当我想体会杜甫老爷爷“会当凌绝顶，一览众山小”的惬意时，我却听到从山下传来一阵“轰轰”的声音。开始我还以为是谁在发动摩托车，也没太在意。可是这一声音持续了很久，我便开始纳闷了，到底是怎么回事呢?我在山上东张西望，很想弄个明白。

爸爸让我循着声音的方向去找，我根据爸爸教我的方法，看到了这样的一幕：原来就在半山腰，一群农民伯伯正在砍树，只见一颗颗小松树倒在我的眼前，慢慢的松林里倒下了一大片。此时我的心里不由得燃起了一股无名之火，要知道，森林可是一座巨大的宝库啊!我愤怒地看着那几位伐W的人，真想好好地对他们说：伯伯，你们不应该砍伐小松树，它们现在还是那么的小啊!你们更不应该破坏森林，要知道，世界上没有了植物就没有了绿色，没有了植物就没有了我们赖以呼吸的氧气，没有了植物，可爱的小鸟就没有了家，它们甚至不能生存!保护自然，保护环境，人人有责啊!
