Many people are becoming less responsible and easily influenced by bad behaviors. “Why should I care while others shouldn’t?” Such idea makes some people only concern with places where they live and work. Furthermore, people sometimes even purposely litter for revenge to other people.

Although media promotes environmental awareness, good people are often snubbed as posers who try to set up a superior image in real life. Consequently, they are intimated of receiving negative comments for doing the right thing. Wrong as it is, such phenomenon is widespread especially among youngsters and people with low income and little education.

However, our society is waging a campaign against environmental pollution. People learn the harms of un-degradable lunch boxes and other polluting wastes. Laws in many countries prohibit or limit excessive use of polluting bags. Companies are continually replacing the old materials with more environmental friendly and recyclable kinds. Scientists have developed more effective technologies in waste treatment. As time goes by, more and more people put high priority on the protection of environment for a healthier life.

To sum up, people produce huge amount of garbage and the environment is seriously polluted because of lack of financial resources, sense of responsibility, or efforts. But the world will not turn into a “throw away” society if people put in sufficient efforts to protect our environment.

这个小村庄里有十几户人家，他们都是靠砍树生活。有些人砍树是为了修建房子，有些人是为了做家具，还有些人是为了卖钱。。。。。。在一片很美丽的森林里他们都在这里砍树，这里的树长得都很高大、绿油油的、又很茂盛。

就在这一天，有几个心肠很坏的人来到了这片很美丽又很茂盛的森林里，手里还拿了一把斧头，好像是来砍树的。他们几个开始砍树了，砍第一颗树应该几刀才能砍下去。小树们好象都很疼一样身体上流下了一滴滴的小泪水。小树们真可怜啊!小树们都被他们这些心肠很坏的人都砍了。

有一位叔叔他长得很特别的样子，上衣是穿这蓝色的，裤子是穿着黑色的，脚上穿着黑色的拖鞋。手上还拿着一把很长的斧头。那个人的头长长的，像是木头一样。不久，那个的头上飞来了一只啄木鸟，啄木鸟心想:这段里一定有虫。不治是不行的，不一会儿啄木鸟就把这个人赶下了森林。

突然这里下起了很大的雨，一下就连下了三天三夜，过了几天。这里的村庄都被洪水给淹没了，真是活该，谁让他们都不保护树木，却要去砍树。所以我们不要像故事里面的那些人们一样乱砍树木。我们要爱护树木保护环境。

Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is shown in the chart, we can see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will continue. From 1980 to 2010, at least 1 million animal species have disappeared. Worse still, more and more wild animals are in great danger. It is not a piece of sensational news; it is a fact, a harsh reality. Unfortunately, we may not see these animals in the near future.

From the second picture, we can find some reasons. Why is the number of animal species declining year by year? Apparently animals have become victims of fashion industry. Animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes and these clothes sell at a high price. So some greedy people begin to kill animals in a large quantity. This irresponsible behavior not only breaks the balance of nature but also endangers the living environment of human beings.

As far as I am concerned, something must be done to stop this illegal action. We believe "no buying, no killing". First, we must make concerning laws to protect these animals in danger. Second, we must take some measures to protect animals effectively. Animals are our friends and part of our environment. Third, we should raise peoples awareness to protect animals and our environment. In this way, we can build a harmonious society and ensure a sustainable development.

我的家乡在东胜，我记忆中的家乡空气清新甜润，河水清澈见底，能看见河底欢快的小鱼和一块块千奇百怪的鹅卵石，花草散发出一阵阵清香。

可如今，原来漂亮的家乡却不见了，空气不再是清新的了，沙尘暴把树木卷走了，河水也变得污浊，河面上飘着已经奄奄一息的小鱼，河底的鹅卵石变得不再明亮了！是什么原因让家乡变了样？原来是人们把废气和烟排放出来，把空气污染了，水是因为人们的船舶排出的油污、工厂排出的废水、农药、化肥、矿物排出的酸性农药以及人们乱扔垃圾，所以家乡就变了样。

慢慢地，人们都生病了，才醒悟了，开始重建漂亮的家园，人们顺手把看到的垃圾捡起来，到处种上新的花草树木，而且在起眼的地方钉上保护环境的标语，经过人们的一段时间的努力，家乡又恢复了原来的样子，小鸟又多了，欢快的飞来飞去，空气又变得清新了1

我爱我的家乡！在这里我对家乡的人们说：“保护环境，人人有责。”我们只有一个家乡，我们要好好珍惜它！

原本我们的人类都生活在这个和蔼、美丽、壮观的地球上，是非常非常幸福的。但是，我们的人类为了自己过上好日子就不择手段的开始了侵略战争的行为，还任意的破坏地球上的自然资源，迫使地球千疮百孔、面目全非，给人类的生活造成了严重的威胁。因此，我呼吁人类必须珍惜资源，保护地球。

但是还有许许多多的没有觉悟的人们就先从砍伐树木下手，将一大片一大片的森林在几年之间全部的砍伐完了。他们的目的就是为了目前的生活过的舒适、安逸，完全不顾以后的事情。就这样一年又复一年。终于，引起了山洪爆发、地震、泥石流等等等。此时此刻的山洪像一头发狂的老虎让无数人民的生命正在受难，多少人因砍伐树木而死亡，多少人因砍伐树木而害死了自己的子孙后代，又有多少人后悔了当年犯下的弥天大罪，最可怕的就是山洪爆发时已严重的污染了自然界中的水源，这样人们喝水就成了个大问题，有多少人因没水而被活生生地渴死啊，人们啊醒醒吧!珍惜资源保护地球，人人有责。珍稀资源保护地球，从身边的小事做起，从今天做起。

人们啊，今天我们依然喝到这些被受过自然水源破坏的水。还有许许多多的人们在拼命的浪费水源，而没水的地方的人们就在想尽一切办法也要保护自然水源。哪里的人们拼命的珍惜水资源，而你们就在拼命的浪费还不知道可呢。当你在学校开水龙头时，那些水哗啦啦地流放出而你已一走了之，这些水可都是有限的啊!一旦干净的水流到了黑水时就被污染了。因此，我们一定要珍稀资源保护地球，善待河水。

同学们，地球上的水源都是有限的，不是无限的。现在缺水的地方有很多很多，非洲就是一个特例，他们的国家就是世界上缺水的地区之一。他们过着的生活是非常的劳苦，生活在烈日的太阳下而且还没有水喝，连洗个手都做不到，别说洗澡。他们就连洗头、刷牙的机会也是难得的。在那里生活的人们是一个月多才能洗一次头，甚至有的二个月和一年以上的都有。同学们，地球上的水是有限的，不是无限的，当你真正地遇上了这样的生活时你将会怎么去面对?只有到了此时你才会知道没有水喝的滋味是怎样，不要到时后悔，后悔就来不及了，世上是没有后悔药的。因此，我们一定要珍惜资源，保护地球，善待河水。

同学们，让我们大家就从现在开始做起，做一名珍惜爱护水源的志愿者。让我们同在一片蓝天下，珍惜水源，保护地球吧。
