Though we are now living in a world in which undeclared aggression, war, hypocrisy, chicanery, anarchy are part of our daily life. Though this is a skeptical age, and our faith has weakened, our confidence in some aspects of the traditional culture should and would never be lost.

Wouldnt you agree that our traditional culture is always credited with modesty, politeness and respectfulness, which have always been treasured for more than five thousand years?Even in this modern world, people still admire those with good manners, those who are polite to others or respectful to old people.

Wouldnt you agree that our Chinese traditional music is beautiful and artistic and our Chinese tea culture is always an appealing treasure to people around the world?

So there may just be some changes in our lifestyle or our attitudes towards life, but little change occurs to some fundamental aspects of our traditional culture that people still treasure in heart.

地球是人类的家园，保护地球是我们的职责，也是我们理所应当背负的重任！如果没有了地球，人类和其他地球上的生物将无法继续生存。可是，如今的地球已经被破坏，慢慢走向毁灭，毁坏地球的罪魁祸首当然是我们人类，是人类不珍惜自然资源，破坏地球生态环境所造成的。地球母亲无私地为我们做出贡献，我们不但不知恩图报，反而变本加厉地伤害她，这难道不是最可耻的吗？

破坏地球的现象我们随处可见，从“极少做的事”慢慢演变成一种习惯。我们可以想象一下一百年后的地球，我看我们一定是生活在一个恶劣的环境吧！空气含有大量有害物质，不像从前那么清新了，那时的空气肯定弥漫着阵阵恶臭，令人作呕；水也枯竭了，连太平洋等海水都遭到了污染，人们只能靠科学技术研究出来的水来维持生存；森林、动物、花草树木也全都消失了踪影，留下的只是光秃秃的黄土地和一栋栋高楼，动物全部灭绝，人也寥寥无几……想想这些，我们不得不认识到保护地球的重要性！

街道上，乱丢垃圾的现象随处可见，有人明明离垃圾桶仅有一步之遥，可就是不愿把垃圾丢入垃圾桶。马路旁，乌黑的汽车尾气笼罩着马路，使人不得不捂鼻行走。饭堂内，浪费粮食的现象也算是家常便饭，倒饭处的装饭桶里的饭堆积如山，许多都是没吃几粒就被倒进装饭桶的，很是浪费。森林里，许多动物死于非命，惨死在猎人冰冷的枪口下，成为餐桌上的一道道美食，还有很多的树木痛苦的倒下，留下的只是砍伐者的奸笑和电锯的轻蔑……

对于水资源的利用，这里有一个很好的例子。有一次，我和同学放学后一起回家，在路上时，我们看见有一个路口缓缓流出清水，人们都踮着脚小心翼翼地走过去。走近一看，原来是一个消防栓栓口坏了，水从栓口汹涌地喷出，不一会儿就把路口前的那片地填满了。我走到消防栓前，试图用手堵住这水，可是水从一个碗大的口喷出，像一个力大如牛地巨人，把我的手狠狠地推开了。有一个清洁工阿姨打电话给街道管理局，请水管工来修理这坏了的消防栓，望着这些被白白抛弃的水，我不禁想起了人们只能拼命挤眼泪来解除干渴的一幕。如果消防栓质量够好，那么就不会有今天这件事发生。

针对以上几个问题，我和我的同学提出以下建议：

1、呼吁学校加强对学生浪费粮食的管理。我建议学校可以派老师在倒饭处检查学生饭盒，如果有太多剩饭就不能倒饭，但是学生可以根据自己的饭量打饭。另外请学校对学生进行思想教育，可以举行一次“保护地球，从我做起”的活动，学生可以到收集一些可回收利用的垃圾也可以轮流上街打扫街道，让他们做一天的小清洁工，体会城市美容师的辛苦。学校还可以进行评比，哪个班做得好就对那个班加以奖励。

2、请街道办工作人员在街上巡查乱丢垃圾的现象，如果发现有人乱丢垃圾，可以对其进行罚款。多多举行低碳环保活动，倡导低碳生活！只有市民慢慢接受保护地球，环境就会得到大大改善。

3、加强对森林的管理，对砍伐者进行严肃处罚，另外加强对动物的管理，增加一条“严禁捕杀动物”的规定，如果发现有人捕杀动物，一律按法律程序处理。

4、在各种公共场所的洗手池贴上节约用水等标语，还可以通过广告的途径大力宣传节约用水的精神。呼吁群众珍惜地球母亲的乳汁，保护母亲。

“救救我吧!”咦，这是谁在呼唤?”原来是地球妈妈在呼唤，这是怎么回事，原来是人类破坏了大自然的规律才使得地球变黄，那将来地球会变得怎么样呢?我们人类会不会搬出地球村去别的星球呢?经历几件小事之后，我不但解开了心中的谜团更陷入了深深的思考。

其1：一个星期天的早上，妈妈带我到超市买东西，在去超市的路上，有几个人在发跆拳道的传单，有的人看了一眼就随手扔到地上，好像完全没有看到垃圾桶就在他们身旁，结果整个街道都一片狼籍。终于到了超市了，买完东西后，我看见营业员用劣质的白色塑料袋，法律明文规定不能用不可回收塑料袋，但这些不法商家为只顾眼前的利益却没有想到这样的行为会造成多大的危害，难道金钱比我们赖以生存的环境更重要吗?其2：众所周知，树木不但可以制造氧气还能抵挡风沙，美化环境。可过去没有多少人去自觉地种树，反而把树一棵棵砍下来做成各种各样的工具、家具，把自己的家装饰得非常漂亮，可他们不知道这些举动却害了自己，毁掉了自己的家园。许多地区的人乱砍滥伐树木，造成了沙尘暴、洪水等自然灾害。

我曾在电视上看到近几年天水人民为了不使这些自然灾害继续蔓延下去，自觉地扛起铁锹、提着镐头到山上去种树，在原本光秃秃的土地上种了大量绿树，给天水筑起了一道“防风墙”。来天水旅游的客人看到绿绿的山包，都说：“这哪像什么黄土高原嘛，分明就是青山绿水的小江南!” 我家住的小区，原来可以算作世外桃源，一条条清澈见底的小河，鱼儿在水里自由自在的玩耍，一棵棵柳树成荫，花儿艳丽多姿，竞相开放，可瞧瞧现在啊。。。。。。哎!那花儿失去了往日的艳丽，耷拉着脑袋，乌黑乌黑的河水里漂浮着一袋又一袋的生活垃圾，不时的招来一大群蚊虫来“做客”不但如此，一阵风吹来，那气味臭气熏天，让人头昏脑胀。

小区里的环境不断的恶化，小河边的河柳因为受到河水的污染，也变的乌黑乌黑了，隐隐发出一股股恶臭，人们踩在弱小无力的小草上散步，小朋友们在草坪上踢足球，还有一些小宠物—小狗，小猫。。。。。。都把粪便拉在了草坪上，害得清洁工们一天扫几回都无济于事，就这样那些小草踩的踩死，压的压死，现在只剩下光秃秃的一片了。原来小区幽雅的环境已经全然不在了。。。。。。

真不敢想象，我们如果再这样继续下去，这个世界将会是一幅怎样的景象呢?地上寸草不生，天空尘沙弥漫，人类无度的索取最终使自己走向末路?到那时我们只能说，人类曾经属于过地球，但地球将永远不会再属于人类了。顾炎武曾经说过，天下兴亡，匹夫有责。保护环境与维护生态平衡的历史重任要落到我们跨世纪一代的肩上。让我们都来关自然，热爱地球吧，手挽手、肩并肩、心连心地铸起一道绿色环保的大堤，捍卫环境、捍卫地球、捍卫我们美丽的家园吧!

我们住在漂亮的地球上，可惜地球每天都饱受着被各种臭气、化学物品、毒汁、腐尸、汽车尾气、生活垃圾、工厂垃圾等等肮脏污染，使我们可爱的地球逐渐退化。所以保护环境是每个人义不容辞的责任。

花草树木是人类的天然氧气“制造厂”。但人们乱砍乱伐，使大自然的生态平衡遭到了破坏；沙丘吞噬了万顷良田；洪水冲毁可我们可爱的家园。无情的杂物把我们清澈的河水变得浑浊。茂密的森林变得稀疏杂乱，蔚蓝的天空变得灰暗，碧绿的青山变得光秃。泥石流、沙尘暴、水灾……这些灾害，都是由肮脏的环境造成的。所以我们更应该保护环境。

如何才能保护环境呢？首先，不能乱扔垃圾，看到垃圾就捡，是环境变得整洁优美。其次，不要任意践踏花草树木。要多植树，多种花草。

电，给我们带来各种便利，特别是给我们带来了光明，照亮了五彩缤纷的世界。但是我们要节约用电，因为电大多是烧煤产生的。节约用电就是节约用煤，少排废气，而在我国储藏的煤只够开采一百多年了！大家想想，一百多年以后，我们的子孙后代该怎么办？所以我们要节约用电，平时的照明灯，尽可能用节能灯。

保护环境，人人有责。让我们从我做起，从现在做起，从身边的点点滴滴做起。

我正在迟疑，不知所措。地球老人又开口了：“小姑娘，我现在已是遍体 鳞伤，你再不帮我，我将走向死亡。到那时，整个人类也将 灭绝。”一听到人类要灭绝，我顿时惊出一身冷汗，头脑也 清醒了许多，回想着刚才与地球老人的对话，心里怏怏不乐 ，久久不能入睡。 第二天，我把昨晚的梦告诉了妈妈，妈妈安慰我，我暗 下决心，想做地球的护理员，保护我们的“生命之船”

原来，我的家乡环境受到严重污染，人们为了方便，不愿意保护环境，家乡变成了又恶心又臭的地方。可是人们并不在乎， 仍然在继续污染环境。

比如；河里的水以前是干净又纯净，像一面明亮的大镜子。有人去洗菜，也有人去游泳······可是好景不长，因为有人乱扔垃圾，也有人把污水倒进河流，所以小河变成一条又黑又臭的河。没人再去那儿洗菜，也没有人再去那儿游泳······河里的海鲜全死了。河面上有枯黄烂叶，垃圾漂来漂去。河真的几乎成了“垃圾河。”

大街上，地上有一层厚厚的灰尘。如果有人扔垃圾，没有人愿意捡起扔进垃圾桶，好像垃圾桶只是个摆设似的。街上每人扔一个垃圾，街就变得十分脏，孩子们因为踩到香蕉皮滑倒。外地人来到本地，都会说；“这个地方怎么这么脏，太恶心了！我还是走了吧。”

行车来来往往，汽车后面排出来的气，使空气污染，人人都戴口罩。连天上飞的鸟都掉下来了。

也通常有人烧垃圾，也会让空气不好。尤其是塑料袋，一烧，毒气四处飘散，对人不健康。大自然对也对这现象进行了惩罚，下起了酸雨。

几年后，人们意识到其危害性，于是，在周围种起了花草树木，地上的垃圾也搬了家，空气也新鲜，看来：保护环境，人人有责！
