"Robinson Crusoe", narrative a youth named Robinson, a very early age want to venture out, dont listen to the advice of their parents, began a Marine adventure.

Only one had an accident, he was the only survivor, and was trapped on a desert island. Although he besides little articles for daily use, has nothing, but he did with their own hands made their required items. Example: table, chair... Has to do with the fence fence to tame the sheep. It seems incredible, in others can actually did Robinson.

Use what you learned knowledge, solve the many difficulties, finally return to the motherland in the 27 years one hundred and nine days.

Finished reading the book, caused me thinking: if someone else into the desert island, will complain about the unfair of god, but he didnt complain, also strong survived. Reading the bible and pray to god every day, with the feelings of gratitude gratitude to god for his blessings. I cant help but think of my own. If it is, I can in the case of no one and no necessities life on a desert island for more than 27 years? The answer is no. And he did Robinson! Even do better than anyone! And the experience of more than 27 years in the desert island also became his life the most precious wealth. -- because he learned self-reliance and always keep optimistic state of mind!

The book tells us: meet with difficulties and danger, dont give up hope, as long as with their own wisdom and hands to create, any difficulties will be readily solved. Optimistic face reality, can successfully overcome the difficulties, and even could be like lubin sun, creating a miracle beyond oneself and all people think!

La dame aux camelias alexandre dumas, French is the author of this novel, let me feel too deep, the feeling is too deep.

Ancient beauty rush, more beautiful appearance bring infinite sadness and tragedy. While prostitutes, especially beautiful and talented prostitute, go along this road is hard. Such as ten niangs, fear and love and hate into the spring waters flowed eastward; Chen sisi, round fate is also a sigh, a helpless. And Ive seen la dame aux camelias after just understand this kind of tragedy is not only happened in China.

This is Margarets love tragedy story. The humble a weak woman in dissolute and no purpose to find the true love in life, used to abandon their material comforts, gave up everything to make yourself happy for the time being the erosion life habit, can only to ask and favorite people together. To climb out, from the deep mire is to spend a lot of strength and determination, and also make their minimum mud pollution. Margaret did, and do very well. Can be so great, in return for the remains of people dont understand and exclusion, and selfish people malicious slander. Huge resistance to Margaret and eventually lovers separated, misunderstanding to your most favorite people need comfort to expose her, this is how painful thing? Perhaps really only death can save her. Yes, Margaret died, died lonely, never alive when luxury, countless lovers also forget her before. Before the more sensation of life, death, the more cold and cheerless.

Thank dumas created such a sad La Traviata and lovely beautiful woman. However, in the hope that the dead flower bud from the soil, rebirth again, away from the dark corner, can every day and the sun company, even if no longer so beautiful, dont repeat the tragedy of the past.

There is such a person, he is a doctor, but the very obsession for sailing adventure, although every time almost died, does not lose enthusiasm, he was in a strange island through series of memorable times, who is he? By the way, is gulliver.

Gulliver has been to four isolated islands - Lilliput, giants, flying island, and the houyhnhnms. In Lilliput, initially, the king treat gulliver like a child. But then for a ridiculous reason, lead to the power split into two continuous small country. A country that has entertained a gulliver many days, let him to fight against another country, gulliver didnt promise, so the king of his exertion. And once built a fire, the palace gulliver in a hurry, suddenly into the use of urine douse the fire. Liledagong originally, but the king listen to chan said, believed to be insulted him, also want to kill gulliver, thanks to a secretary told him to avoid the disaster.

In the giant countries, the situation much worse than Lilliput. Because they all think that gulliver is not a real person, but to a person like robot, so dont put the gulliver seriously, because of the small, everyday want to go to the street performances. Gulliver cant stand this slave life, he escaped while owners do not pay attention to.

In all gulliver sailing experience the most interesting is in the flying island. Where there are a lot of good to be true. Someone says, can be extracted from the cucumber sunshine, but he has never been successful. There is also a architect want to build a house from top to bottom, and flushed to argue that many insects are building houses in this way. On the other side of the flying island is wu, a man born inside there is magic, those flowers look very common, actually hold great power.

On our way to the adventure gulliver with wisdom and courage to overcome the one after another difficult. In the future study, we also want to like him, work hard, go forward.

I believe that one of the factors that makes a piece of literature or even a movie a masterpiece is how well the reader can relate to the story. This is definitely a book everyone can relate to.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a mischievous young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St. Petersburg. The story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in Tom Sawyers life.

Tom Sawyer seems to be the precursor of and the template for misfit kids such as Dennis the Menace, Malcolm in the Middle, and Calvin and Hobbs. What makes this story great is that Tom Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. The book is filled with Toms adventures playing pirates and war with his friend Joe Harper. Tom has a trusted friend, Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of. The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood.

The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms (which Im sure uses terms even young children already know), the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages.

Oliver Twist one of the most famous works of Charles Dickens is a novel reflecting the tragic fact of the life in Britain in 18th century.

The author who himself was born in a poor family wrote this novel in his twenties with a view to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in London.

The hero of this novel was Oliver Twist an orphan who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime. He suffered enormous pain such as hunger thirst beating and abuse. While reading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver I was shocked by his sufferings. I felt for the poor boy but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill. To my relief as was written in all the best stories the goodness eventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end. One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs. Maylie and Rose and began a new life. He went for walks with them or Rose read to him and he worked hard at his lessons. He felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty.

How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens—he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. Although I dont think goodness is omnipotent yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.

For me the nature of goodness is one of the most necessary character for a person. Goodness is to humans what water is to fish. He who is without goodness is an utterly worthless person. On the contrary as the famous saying goes The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose he who is with goodness undoubtedly is a happy and useful person. People receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself.

To my disappointment nowadays some people seem to doubt the existence of the goodness in humanity. They look down on peoples honesty and kindness thinking it foolish of people to be warm-hearted. As a result they show no sympathy to those who are in trouble and seldom offer to help others. On the other hand they attach importance to money and benefit. In their opinion money is the only real object while emotions and morality are nihility. If they cannot get profit from showing theirkindness they draw back when others are faced with trouble and even hit a man when he is down. They are one of the sorts that I really detest.

Francis Bacon said in his essay Goodness of all virtues and dignities of the mind is the greatest being the character of the Deity and without it man is a busy mischievous wretched thing no better than a kind of vermin.

That is to say a person without goodness is destined to lose everything. Therefore I a kind person want to tell thosevermin-to-beto learn from the kind Oliver and regain the nature of goodness.

The first time I saw the title of the film, the Joy Luck Club, I thought that it would be a film filed with joy, luck and happiness. However, out of my expectation, in the film, I saw many unpleasant thingsconflicts, hardship, disappointment, sorrow, hurt, torture etc. Of course there were some moving parts, and fortunately, it was a happy ending. Anyway, I enjoyed it very much. It made me have a penetrating thinking.

The Joy Luck Club tells about the conflicts between Chinese immigrant mothers and their American-raised daughters and their struggling to understand each other. The film shows us these topics: the misunderstanding of love between the mothers and the daughters, the clash between the generations and cultures, and the struggle for the women to fight for equity. Now I am going to show you my understanding of them, emphasizing on the first topic.

In many cases, we and those we love are easy to hurt each other because of the misunderstanding of love, the conflicts in generations and culture background, or unconsciousness.

Take Jingmei and her mother Suyuan as an example. When Suyuan demands the little Jingmei to play piano, Jingmei shouts to her mother, You can’t make me! Even Jingmei cried that she wish she isn’t Suyuan’s daughter and Suyuan isn’t her mother, and that she wishes she were the dead like the babies Suyuan abandoned in China. The sad expression on Suyuan’s face indicates that she is hurt deeply by her daughter’s innocent words.

This reminds me of my similar experience. Once I hurt my mother as Jingmei did. I didn’t mean to hurt her, but those wounding words just slip out of my mouth unconsciously. Often, we hate that why our parents don’t know my feelings, why they like to make us be something and totally unaware that what their children are. While the parents don’t know why all their sacrifices to the children can’t be paid off, even incite hatred. Actually, this is the generation gap that causes the misunderstanding. We don’t know the hardship our parents underwent before. They can’t understand what we are thinking. So misunderstandings appear.

Maybe as a child, Jingmei cannot comprehend what her remarks mean to Suyuan, and just want to show her grudge. But another main reason is the different backgrounds of Suyuan and Jingmei bare. Chinese parents always like to put all their hopes on the next generation for they are the generation full with hardship and pain. All they do just want the children to be better, but they ignore that whether their children can accept or not, not along a child born in America, influenced by the American’s individual freedom and knowing little about Chinese culture. The generation gap and culture conflict cause the misunderstanding of the mother and the daughter.

The other example is Waverly and her mother Lindo. Waverly tries her best to please Lindo in everything. Whether her mother approves or not becomes the master of all her choice. Even Waverly marries a Chinese man because Lindo likes Chinese, while she doesn’t love. Waverly doesn’t understand why Lindo disapprove or criticize whatever she has done. On the other side, Lindo thinks that her daughter is ashamed of her, which is her continual internal injury after Waverly’s winning that chess contest, when Waverly shouted to Lindo if Lindo wanted to show off, won the chest by herself. Every time, Lindo’s disagreement with or indifference to Waverly directly results from the thought that Waverly feels it shameful to be her daughter. Both of them deeply love each other, but in the meantime, they hostile and hurt one another. This is the way them get along with each other. Fortunately, they clear up their misunderstandings and discover themselves by communicating.

I am deeply moved by this scene:

Waverly Jong says to Lindo, sobbing,, You don"t know, you don"t know the power you have over me. One word from you, one look, and I"m four years old again, crying myself to sleep, because nothing I do can ever, ever please you. And after a short period of silence, Lindo smiles to Waverly with tears in her eyes, Now, you make me happy. Then they laugh heartily, teary-eyed with happiness.

Seeing the old Lindo bursts out laughing, like a child, and Waverly laughs joyfully, I sincerely feel delighted for them. Love needs communicating, understanding, and tolerance, which is what I learn from them.

Along with above mentioned, the struggle for the women to fight for equity is also brought to the surface. For instance, Ying-ying encourages her daughter Lena to escape an unhappy marriage, not repeating the same mistakes she made in her first marriage. And An-mei tells her daughter Rose to learn to shout at the unfair fate, and express her own will because Rose has lost herself in her marriage. These two cases reveal that the women begin to release themselves from the restrains of being oppressed by the men and the old-fashioned thoughts as well as some Chinese traditional characters. Eventually, the women find their true value and win their own happiness.

View from the whole film, the title, the Joy Luck Club may just be the old generation’s hope of better life for the next generation. On the whole, this is a movie made specifically for women. It is worth our appreciation.

《 Notre Dame cathedral》 is one known far and wide romantic faction strength which Victor Hugo writes . I take advantage of this summer vacation free time, read this great work.

Notre Dame cathedrals story, actually was one at that time social epic poem, since brimmed with really. Friendly. Beautiful, also the flow selfish desire and is false. Regardless of is good beautiful Asmelada ,or has the ugly semblance, Cacimodo with one pure mind, they represent the great amount the lower level populace which suppresses; Perhaps is sinister Coloud, he is appears by the theocracy face, all load bearing one kind of authors ponder. The author in this work, for with the clown, was beautifully friendly and wickedly does the best annotation, or take above three people as the example, the rebel Asmelada has the beautiful semblance and the chaste good mind, as well as pitiful destiny, but Cacimodo, he withstood destiny deceive nicely, the innermost feelings is his misery is graver, but Coloud maintained the benighted social rights and interests, he had brutally. Void mind and evil passion. Good person physique hateful, but the evil person actually says the appearance shore however, bright set off, social unfair manifest.

But the article result also is when the opposition society until criticism: All beautiful is good all swallows by the might and the evil, the lower level peoples weak strength in under the king power rule, in the benighted society, only can be reduced to ashes. Was palatial Notre Dame cathedral, how many world tragedy testimony once, in Hugo the novel, he as if had the life breath, he sheltered Asmelada ,exposed Coloud the crime, regret the populace attack the magnificent feat which dark actually heroically devoted……

Another the question which is worth pondering is: Who is the hero? Asmelada or Cacimodo? I think all is not, but is in the article by the Louis 11 rank smell of blood suppression rather for sacreficed the populace gate, Asmelada with Cacimodo is not in them the representative, Asmelada is loves with the beautiful symbol, Cacimodo not many represents is unfortunate and the pain. But they, all suffer a tragic middle ages ignorant evil forces devastate, one each one painful soul is bleeding, flows the tear. Merely is Notre Dame cathedrals above engraves " the destiny "? They are in middle ages France, despotism sacrificial victim.

The entire story rich tragic color, the plot intense is moving, exciting. Author Hugo through " Notre Dame cathedral " this story, but also disclosed at that time the dark societys essence to the people. This fascinating story likes that Ccimodo clocks sound equally shocks several generation of readers minds.

After I read "the destruction of the old Summer Palace", I think the robbers very hateful!

In 1860, British and French troops robbed the old Summer Palace treasures, later gave burning yuanmingyuan. Later came to rob the eight yuanmingyuan artefacts. This proves that the qing dynasty backward and corruption. Only man can have a good life in the palace in qing dynasty, the beggar day all the people will come in.

When the bad guys to the emperor ran, garden soldiers had to keep watching cultural relics were robbed. Many people committed suicide. Delays are dangerous, so, we want to be strong. Only in this way will not be bullied.

We cant forget about the old Summer Palace, yuanmingyuan many treasures were lost to overseas, spent tens of millions of Chinese people bought things looted, let us make more think more angry, it also suggests that weaker underdeveloped countries at that time, will in this way, if the country strong we will not be bullied, also wont spend money to buy back their own stuff.

Now the old Summer Palace was the invaders to its former glory, thought of these I felt so angry and infinite regret.
