This weekend, Michelle and I are doing what I know every parent is doing – holding our children as close as we can and reminding them how much we love them.

There are families in Connecticut who can’t do that today. And they need all of us right now. Because while nothing can take the place of a lost child or loved one, all of us can extend a hand to those in need – to remind them that we are there for them; that we are praying for them; and that the love they felt for those they lost endures not just in their own memories, but also in their communities, and their country.

省高院举办送法进校园暨惩治“校园暴力”新闻发布会

近两年我省校园暴力10大案例公布

每日甘肃网-兰州晨报讯(记者董子彪)9月9日，省高院在兰州市华侨实验学校开展送法进校园活动，通过公开发布全省法院依法惩处校园暴力典型案例、以案说法的形式，给广大中学生上了一堂法制教育课。在当日的发布会现场，省高院新闻发言人翟荣生发布了10大校园暴力典型案例，省高院少年法庭负责人介绍了全省未成年人犯罪案件总体情况。

2013年至2015年6月，全省各级法院共判处被告人41987人，判处未成年被告人1720人，占总人数的4.09%。其中，2013年判处未成年被告人801人， 2014年判处未成年被告人672人， 2015年1至6月判处未成年被告人247人，未成年罪犯人数呈逐年下降趋势。从被告人的犯罪年龄看，以已满16周岁不满18周岁的未成年人居多，共1485人，占生效判决未成年被告人数的86.34%。从犯罪类型看，主要集中在抢劫、盗窃、故意伤害等犯罪，其中，判处抢劫罪500人，判处盗窃罪483人，这两大类涉及侵犯财产的案件占生效判决未成年被告人数的51.15%。据介绍，青少年认知能力不足，自控能力低，是违法犯罪的主要原因。同时，家庭教育的误区，父母溺爱放纵不理性;学校教育的偏差和失当，使青少年远离违法犯罪的防火墙功能弱化;社会不良环境的污染，遍布在中小学校周围的KTV、游戏厅、台球厅、网吧等地也成为诱发青少年违法犯罪的温床。

与他人绑架表妹怕败露3学生参与故意杀人

张掖中院审理后，以故意杀人罪判处王某有期徒刑十二年，李某某有期徒刑十年;以绑架罪判处李某有期徒刑三年，宣告缓刑四年。

郑某、李某、郑某某与被害人王某某系同班同学，2012年7月，因被害人王某某值日但未打扫卫生，郑某某与王某某发生口角;之后，王某某在路过郑某座位时在郑某背部推了一下，引发推搡厮打;一旁的李某、郑某某也参与到殴打中。最终造成王某某头部重伤，后经救治无效死亡。案发当日，郑某与郑某某先后被警方抓获归案，李某在其亲属陪同下投案自首。

法院一审后，判处郑某有期徒刑七年、李某有期徒刑二年、郑某某有期徒刑二年。一审宣判后，郑某、郑某某提起上诉，二审法院维持原判。

丁某某于2014年2月10日17时许，在兰州市某中学操场，因踢球与被害人张某某发生口角争执后继而相互殴打，后丁某某用脚踢打被害人的腹部，至其腹部受伤。经医院诊断：张某某腹部闭合性损伤，脾破裂。经司法鉴定，张某某所受损失属重伤二级。 法院一审，判处丁某某有期徒刑一年六个月，缓刑二年。
