雨越下越大，像泼，像倒。此时，我的眼前就像是有一层厚厚的雨帘，遮挡了我的视线。顿时，整个世界都模糊了。远处，那高大的树木、山林、村庄似乎在跟我玩躲猫猫，若隐若现。

忽然，一声响雷，一道道闪电划过，黑暗的天空如同被凶猛的野兽撕裂了一般。那道道闪亮的圆弧，从云间一路奔下，直到天的边缘。霎时，照亮了哭泣的天空。

响声越来越大，大街上人们行色匆匆。撑开的伞红的、绿的、蓝的、花的、透明的，宛如雨后鲜艳的蘑菇，宛如春天争艳的百花。

路旁那正在顽强盛开的野花，倔强成长的野草，不像温室里开着的牡丹、玫瑰。它们在这暴雨中，挺着腰，伸长了脖，成为了雨中一幅引人注目的风景。

不知过了多久，雨渐渐停了，风也相继停了。再看看窗外的景色，路面和树好像刚洗过澡一样，空气也清新多了。夏天的雷阵雨呀，真的来得也快，去得也快。它匆匆地带走了闷热，悄悄地留下了凉爽，真是一场及时雨啊!

太阳像个大火球一样，散发出一道道强烈的光，照射着大地万物，让人觉得身处一个热的王国中。人们没什么事一般都不愿迈出门去，如果实在有事出门了，也要戴上一顶遮阳帽，或是带上一条湿毛巾。一回到家里，他们就迫不及待地打开电风扇或是空调，享受它们送出的清凉的风。

你看，小狗躺在地上气喘吁吁，好像在说：“哎，热得我受不了啦！”知了在树上撕扯着嗓子，不住地叫唤：“这个夏天真热呀！太阳都快把我身上的水分晒干了。”田里的禾苗被太阳晒弯了身子，有气无力地说：“渴呀！渴呀！我都要渴死啦！”

Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.

One reason is that if we give up easily, we will achieve nothing. It is not

unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not

feel discouraged. Besides, if we always give up when fail happens, we will can

not develop new skills. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to

reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed

in other areas of our lives.

Probably the greatest example of persistence is Abraham Lincoln. Born into

poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight

elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown. He could

have quit many times - but he didnt and because he didnt quit, he became one

of the greatest presidents in the history of America.

Lincoln was a champion For the reason that ---he ,never gave up.

In short, no matter you succeed or not, you can learn something, no matter

what we learn will help us to become more confident. If we give up, we have no

chance to make our dreams come true, if we keep trying, there is always a

忙碌的星期天

Last week , I had a busy Sunday.

I got up at six oclock at first ,Then ,I must washed my face and brushed

my teeth in ten minutes,Following,I need for breakfast .My breakfast was very

delicious ,so I ate them fast.After this,I went out and went played basketball

with my best friend ,Tom ,in the school playground .We knew many tempering is

good to health, so we can train each week together .In the noon,I went home and

cooked my lunch by myself ,then ate it .In the afternoon ,I stayed at home .I

read books and did my homework three hours .I n the evening ,it is mountain in

the sun ,I began to washed my dirty clothes .At the oclock ,I went to bed and

had a rest.

The delicious lunch

Today,when I went home after school at noon,the moment I opened the door,a

good smell drifted out.Then I saw my mother was cooking in the kitchen.Wow!That

were all my favorite food:lobsters,chiken wings,sweet and sour pork

ribs,kung-pao chiken and steamed fish.My mother said:“your uncle,aunt and your

little cousin will come to visit us soon.”No wonder my mother cooked so many

delicious.After we ate lunch,I felt very fulled,because the lunch was actually

tasted delicious,I hadnt eaten such tasty dishes for a long time.Then I played

with my little cousin,he is two years old,and he is chbby and very cute.
