今年暑假我要把书法学好，写书法可以培养我的耐心和专注力，更让我的汉字可以写得更整齐漂亮。平常我做事很容易分心，所以我下定决心让自己借由写书法，来练习专心一致不再分心，才能让我以后做任何事都能更积极、更专注、更用心。

学期一结束，爸爸就带我去书店买了文房四宝，还特别买了一大叠的毛边纸和宣纸要给我练习用的。首次用文房四宝时，弄得全身和桌椅都黑漆漆、脏兮兮，还好爸爸也是过来人，了解会有这种情况的发生，而没有责骂我；一开始写的字和笔划都是歪七扭八，好像毛毛虫一样又肥又不规则乱躜。后来我经过一再的练习，写了好多好多张之后，终于把基本功学好了，渐渐的把“一”、“丨”、“丶”写得有模有样了呢！

现在的我，知道毛笔要怎么握、要如何运笔和控制方向和粗细了，也应该学习写一些简单的字，因为中文字是由许多不同的笔划所组成的，比单一线条的练习要多一些难度，可以让我学习更上一层楼的书法，才能使我写书法的能力越来越好，我也更有自信，更有成就感了呢！

今年暑假我要写十张练习纸才能休息，每张纸都要写得整整齐齐、认真用心，当一个身体力行的孩子，相信这个暑假过后，大家一定会对我写的书法字刮目相看的，我一定做得到的，我对我的期望是很有信心的。

My Chinese New Year for this year was fantastic!

I went to Hai Nan with my parents during the Chinese New Year and visited my relatives over there. The weather over there was beautiful. It was so much warmer than my city. We stayed in a hotel and we spent a lot of time on the beaches. My parents also took me for a ride round the island. It was so much fun and I wish it was longer.
